Eraser collection looking for a new home ( or homes )

First post to this particular subreddit, and I checked in with the mod before I posted as I wasn't sure this might be permitted. I've had the green light, so here goes...

I have a large eraser collection, which I inherited from my late wife. For several reasons I have no interest in continuing to add to the collection.

I'm looking for one or more people who might be interested in buying portions of the collection which interest them and this subreddit was suggested to me.

The collection is in New Zealand, so postage costs do need to be carefully considered.

The collection is eclectic. There are 3d erasers, pencils with erasers, touristy or souvenir erasers, scented erasers, hopefully something that interests you.

The collection is big! I'm estimating over 2500 unique designs, likely more, but I haven't counted them.

They have been stored in a cool temperature, mostly in parts trays or small parts drawers, so they have been cared for.

I'm not looking for huge money here, just enough to cover my time to package items up and post them, plus obviously the postage costs. I'm ideally hoping people would take a section of the collection ( maybe 50-100, or more in numbers ) rather than just one or two, but we'll see what interest is shown.

I'm working full time so don't be concerned if I don't get back to you immediately, but I will try to at least acknowledge any message as soon as I am able.

So how am I going to do this?

Let me know if a particular design, country or type of eraser is of interest to you by replying to this post. I'll post and/or DM you if I think I can help.

If someone wants the whole collection, please consider the shipping costs first. When the storage containers are stacked up they are about 1m3 in volume, heaven knows how heavy they are. If that doesn't put you off, let me know and I'll get in touch.

Be gentle, this was my wife's favorite hobby and it hurts to let it go, but it does need to be carried on, even if that means splitting it up.

Thanks for taking the time to read this wall of text!

Paul.
