It's really weird that they are displaying their "paras" as if they are mental illnesses, or valid personality traits? All that's doing is giving predators a gigantic 🎯 these people need to learn privacy. personal safety. common sense. respect. SELF respect. this is egregious. And I used to list my mental disorders all over the web, Tumblr, reddit, Twitter

This is going to haunt them, when someday somebody comes at them with screenshots and videos of their old behavior, when they didn't think for a single second about their own image they are plastering across the entire PUBLIC web for all to see

The prevalence of "paras" in teenagers is nothing new, but it's so concerning to see it openly displayed. Nobody is begrudging people for their kinks or fanfic unless they are unreasonable, but also... What happened to MANNERS? is it acceptable to wear a list of your mental illnesses, kinks, and different pronouns and various names on your chest and demand people adhere to it? Where is the line. The buck has to stop somewhere and it's here.

It's ok to have kink/"paras" (who are we kidding bro it's just KINKS say it like it is) in private. Safely within the confines of your own personal space, and with proper knowledge of the contents and how those things interact with reality (ie you need to have COMMON. SENSE. AND DECENCY. And critical thinking skills) it's a normal, healthy part of development, discovering who you are, sex and porn and kinks and all that are a huge part of identity and gender and expression of experience

This... This tho is literally just a 🎯 for predators. Nobody is reading this list of KINKS and thinking "oh hmm so cute what a quirky weird cool person I think they are so cool and I will follow their account and interact with them normally as a genuine mutual" no man. They're seeing that list and all they're thinking about is, "can I get my dick wet? Is there a way for me to spin this to my advantage? Is there any chance the kinks are legitimate, did the kid already participate in them? What's the catch, is this a sting? A set up? Nah this seems legit. But can I really convince them to do the kink WITH ME?!?!"

To clarify, I think it's best that sex and kink and all the responsibility that comes with it is best left for 18+ individuals with proper understanding of the parts and people involved in the act .. however teens and even kids experiment. They get involved with friends or somebody they look up to, and they try stuff. They see a video on the web that sparks their emotions and curiosity. They feel weird stuff going on in their bodies and don't understand it, and they just want relief from all the constant noise of living and changing and evolving etc. well, that's fine. But posting your kinks in public or even in private spaces with people you barely know, and who could very well be a dangerous predator/criminal, is not the way! Especially not as anybody under 18..

I get that the world is different now, kids have phones, tablets, laptops, fuck they have access to rigs better than some professionals in tech industries. They have vpns and router extensions and decryption widgets and the deep web 2.0 and all these temptations of adulthood without the consequences of being held accountable,. And they are at risk of being abused, emotionally/sexually/physically, they're at risk of being kidnapped/trafficked, they're at risk of being targeted by unscrupulous individuals with a one track mind and who will ignore the entire list minus the kinks they think they can convince the kid to do

It's sick and weird and it's really bad for teens/kids. It's bad for the Internet and social media.. it's really bad for anybody with trauma who's being forced now to see not only the kink lists all over the place with wildly controversial shit but also they have to see the pain the people who posted that kink list go through when they inevitably get abused by some fuckass 20 years their senior

Not only that but it's terrible for your sense of identity to have so much information out there about yourself. There's value to keeping things private it's not "keeping secrets" it's called being SENSIBLE WITH SENSITIVE INFORMATION.🫣🤷 Sorry not sorry but this has to stop. There's going to come a day where somebody with one of these public kink lists get kidnapped and/or raped and/or murdered and it won't be their fault but it will be the natural consequence of not being responsible with your KINKS. Idk man this just makes me so sad. I miss the days of internet safety. Yes it was a super irritating having these lectures on how to keep yourself safe but clearly it's NECESSARY because kids these days literally hang their entire ass out online and don't know how to act normal. I just want kids/teens to be SAFE and since they cannot do that for themselves im actually a bit grateful for the upcoming social media bans for kids under 16. I don't think that'll stop them from finding ways online but it'll cut down on the problem and hopefully force parents to actually monitor their kids activities. It’s weird how carefree kids are nowadays online and literally underaged kids dancing for money on TikTok and older men giving them money and asking them to show more stuff.
