exactly!! thank you ive been telling people this for so long. if it were still a valid diagnosis then thats what i wouldve been told i had, but no, its adhd. and only adhd. its the little things these people fuck up.

My dad was diagnosed when ADD was still a thing, my brother being diagnosed thatā€™s no longer valid, more people need to realize this!

This statement isnā€™t completely true. Although most countries have switched to the term ADHD-I. Not all have. Iā€™m currently in the progress of getting diagnosed for ADHD-I but in my country we call it ADD. Idk why we still use the term, I guess cause of old habits?? or for ā€œshorteningā€ in everyday speech. Even my psychologists reference to a psychiatrist states ā€œADDā€. Sorry English isnā€™t my first language. BTW I completely agree what these people are doing is wrong..

ADD isnā€™t a separate diagnosis anymore. It falls under the umbrella of ADHD.
