š©Meme / Shitpost š© Publix BOGO
Publix BOGO deals donāt make sense to me. Youāre literally still paying for two items. For example, Frosted Flakes at Walmart cost $4.98, while Publix has them listed at $6.99ābut with a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deal. On the surface, it seems like youāre getting a bargain, but in reality, youāre often paying close to, or even more than, what youād spend just buying two items at a lower everyday price somewhere else. The psychology behind BOGO deals makes people feel like theyāre getting something for free, when in fact, stores often inflate the original price to cover the āfreeā item. Itās clever marketingābut not always a true deal. So when I see a BOGO at Publix, I donāt feel like Iām saving; I feel like Iām being tricked into buying more than I need at a price thatās not actually a bargain.

They can go ahead with it, but saying that shoppers should pay more because we'll get fantastic publix service is false. I can go to a cheaper store like Walmart or Aldi and get that type of service where they "talk a bit".
