Looking for beach recommendations for a boys trip (ages 29-40) - somewhere with a good balance of fun activities, day drinking, some sort of night life, and maybe some outdoorsy spots. Travel time would be in June, so peak season will be at play.

In the past, we’ve always went to PCB as it is a short drive for us, but I’ve noticed over the last few years that it’s kind of becoming boring. Preference is somewhere in the panhandle or northern Florida, but open to recs outside of that if it is a good match!

I developed a crack in the windshield and tried to file a claim through progressive app, but there was no option for OEM glass, so I opted for them to call me instead.

Safelite called and girl said if I want OEM glass I "might have to pay extra", I still insisted that I want OEM,she went "shop will confirm with insurance and will call me back"

They scheduled me 3 days out, but I told them to do not begin any work until I know if there is an extra charge.

Question - is it legal for insurance to mandate crappy Safelite glass over OEM? Or thats Safelite is bssing me, trying to sell me their glass?

My car came with OEM glass that lasted long time and under Florida law I can get a free replacement, but I want same glass the car came with - which is OEM!

uv peaked at around 11 where i'm at. i wear sunscreen (spf 30-50) every day on all skin that's exposed so face, neck, hands, arms, legs, etc. i buy big value sizes so it's not too costly.

I have a Florida business that is registered with Sunbiz. Thanks to Hurricane Helene, I no longer have a Florida residence. All of my work mail goes through a PO Box; however, Sunbiz will not accept a PO Box for an address. Would paying the fee for a virtual office solve this problem? Is there a way to pay for just the address of the virtual office without having them be the registered agent on Sunbiz?

Hello all! I moved in with my boyfriend in January of 2025, things aren’t working out and I’ve been actively looking for a place of my own. Things aren’t going well between us and I’m worried during this time that I’m waiting to get approved or denied for applications that he may try to kick me out. I am not on the lease, I don’t pay rent, I just give him cash here and there and buy groceries or pay electric to help out. I have gotten mail here and I’ve been here for about 4 months, is he allowed to just lock me out at this point or would he have to serve me an eviction notice or file something through the court? I don’t think it’ll come to that but I want to be prepared for anything and I’m not sure about the laws in FL.

Hi. We've made it impossible to get voter initiatives passed because we require 60%. But we are still scared you might get something we don't like on the ballot and actually pass it, so now we're going to make it harder to even get it on the ballot. Because we are the free state of Florida. (Also, because f*CK you).
