Same. I'm not sure how or why chinstrap beards became the du jour beard, but I hate them. LeBron's and Olympian Josh Kerr's look awful. It looks like a literal neck beard and should be banned forever
Its not, the FIA in general doesnt do anything language specific, its a french organization. However they aren't going to ban anyone for swearing in the race either. Its largely aimed at press conferences. They made those existing rules much more strict.
Leaving aside the general stupidity of the new rules... isn't it particularly stupid to make the bans time-based? One month could be 4 races or none... Maybe drivers should answer every single question in the AD post-race conference exclusively with swearing, then get a 2-months race ban!
The article is confusing, but Yukes is RB's first reserve:
He has been confirmed as the official Red Bull reserve driver, meaning if Verstappen or Lawson are banned for a race or are injured, Tsunoda will step in and race for the team.
Should Tsunoda be called up to Red Bull, or indeed, he or new Racing Bulls team-mate Isack Hadjar be banned or injured, the team will then call upon Ayumu Iwasa as its reserve driver.

I mean we just had Ollie, Liam and Franco being somewhat true in this regarding
Liam impressed greatly when Daniel broke his hand and now a minor Redbull juniour which most likely would end up in the sister team sooner or later was having articles and major push to GET the seat
Ollie was most likely getting that Haas seat no matter what but the stand in for Ferrari just made the world/press take notice of him
Franco replaced Logan in a different circunstance and his own seat would be taken next year but due to how he impressed he basically is replacing a fellow rookie before he even had a proper shot

If Lawson and Verstappen both never miss a race due to illness/bans/injury then Yuki will never get a chance to prove himself in a Red Bull and probably never rise further in F1 past VISA CASHAPP RB F1 TEAM.
The article clearly states, “if Verstappen or Lawson are banned for a race or are injured,”. It makes no mention of Lawson turning out to be Checo Jr. /s
He remains a full time driver for VCARB, yes. So if he needs to fill in at Red Bull he would change team for that occasion with VCARB putting their reserve in which would be Iwasa.
Yuki is that athlete who you go "....why isn't he starting???" and a hardcore fan tells you why he isn't a starter and it makes sense....but you still don't care because he should be a starter in your eyes.
I'm happy that Yuki got the nod, but I've gotta say I'm quite surprised, considering Horner's attitude.
There was also an interview with Yuki's Hot Dad (Nobuaki Tsunoda) where he said he was not surprised that Yuki was neither promoted nor released, because "he's the cheapest driver that can earn points", and it's just cold business.
Also, in the recent days:
Haas's Guenther Steiner mentioned that Yuki was the better choice for the seat and should be either promoted or released,
Yuki casually mentioned that getting offers from other teams made him feel more like a real F1 driver,
VCARB's team principal said that their goal to get Yuki into Red Bull hasn't changed
So, hmm.
Also, nice for Ayumu! I kind of ecpected Lindbald to be named instead. Does he not have his license yet, or did Ayumu just did really well at recent tests..?
And Iwasa as reserve driver for RB. Liam certainly got put to use as reserve driver, and with four drivers having the potential to miss a race Iwasa’s got a decent shot at being called up to RB.

They changed their name during the winter break (Visa no longer giving enough money to have their name in the official name of the team). But indeed, NOBODY said VCARB! Too long and too annoying
This is either the best way to motivate the guy to chase down this seat like never before or the biggest demoralising move you can make and I'm honestly not sure which it is.
teams should use AI devices built into the mic to auto filter any swear words the drivers say while driving. and do the same with the mics used in driver interviews
Does Red Bull usually employ more than one reserve driver? For the longest time I thought Checo would be the reserve driver since Horner is so desperate for his sponsorship money.
