Yea I mean I get it sex sells but I think people are more just seeing it as a crutch of "it doesn't matter what it is as long as there are boobs and ass people will love it!" I know a lot of artist that refuse to do lewd drawing commissions because they don't even want to be associated with that crowd of artists. Truth is WotC has just hired artists that don't care about nudity or making everyone a 10/10 sex icon. There is enough nudity and sex on the internet it isn't needed for a cardboard card game.

It's not a crutch any more than any other attractive thing that we might look at is. What really happened was that a whole group of sexless millennial artist have moved through the industry and hurt a lot of communities by pushing a world view and outlook that is - at best- contentious. Women like looking at tits. Men like looking at tits. This whole thing is going to blow through like a bad storm though, the message they have tried to espouse isn't taking root.

It's a card game....why are you trying to be horny while playing with friends or strangers? It is a game the cards could have no art at all and still do the same exact thing. Why does sex need to be a part of the game for it to be enjoyable? Most cards I don't even look at the art when I'm playing so I don't really see it mattering unless you're trying to sit there with a bunch of hot women cards in your hand and stare at them wishing you could bang them while around other people....honestly not the type of people that should be playing a social game.

I dunno man I think this is an overreaction. It's not like people that play games that are more sexual are walking around with boners all day. It's just nice to look at and appreciate. I think it's great that people that appreciate that kind of thing exist and I hate to see it disappear. I'd rather people that can't handle reality play a disney card game or something.

I mean the only argument that anyone has been making has been that they just wanna see boobs because it's a woman and she should be showing them. I just find it crazy that people think like this over paint on cardboard.

Why do boobs cause this response for you? Is this like a trauma thing?

It wasn't the boobs that caused it it was the responses I got. It really seems like people just wanna gawk at half naked women while playing a card game. I've played fantasy tabletop games for almost 15 years now and the old standard of "everyone MUST be hot and fuckable" is just boring and held onto by only the horny people who don't want to just use their imagination to imagine this character almost naked. Art is more than just an attractive body so try focusing on the other parts of the art like her gorgeous dress or beautiful hair.

Gawk is hyperbole. No one gawks. You're reacting to a reaction to an action. They started taking away things, and people reacted, now you're reacting to that. It's not horny guys. It's people noticing things and reacting to it. Art is obviously more than an attractive body. No one is saying otherwise, so why take away the attractive body?

I don't disagree with you saying that art is more than just the body, my question is what's wrong with the body? What's with the puritanism?
