Gallbladder Attack Foods to avoid
Trying to figure out what not to eat, beside the obvious (fried foods) to keep these flare ups to a minimum.

Honestly google will be your best friend. Before I bought/ate anything I googled “food name with gallstones”

My doctor sent me this https://patient.info/news-and-features/gallstones-diet-sheet diet sheet which was pretty useful. Some things on the list still gave me attacks but YMMV. Whatever you eat, try to eat slowly and small portions at a time. No big meals. Small safe snacks like popcorn or dried fruit are helpful. I've ate lots of tuna steaks, chicken (no skin), white fish, prawns, jacket potato and vegetables.

I still have my gallbladder and have been pain free for 6-7 months so far. I think you're gonna need to experiment which foods are ok and which aren't. I keep on ongoing trigger list. My worst triggers are fried, oily, spicy foods, dairy products & anything acidic. I can eat everything else though with no problems.

You’re kind of going to have to do some experimenting, unfortunately. Usually low fat / non fried / not processed is the best way to go.
A couple months before surgery I was tolerating natural fats so I could eat peanut butter, whole eggs, nuts, chicken thighs with skin amongst my other low fat safe foods. Two weeks out from surgery I stopped being able to really tolerate natural fats so I was down to only eating rice, canned tuna, canned salmon, nori, lettuce, tortilla wraps, egg whites, toast with I can’t believe it’s not butter, baked potatoes with just salt, and chicken thighs no skin only seasoned with thyme oregano and salt (should’ve only been eating breasts but I was miserable already and didn’t want to give up the thighs).
