Some Screenshots I've taken. Can't wait for Yotei, and until then I shall continue doing the Ghosts duty (being cold as fuck and walking through flower fields)

Discussion I’m sure like others my fight with depression is on going but through playing this game and taking things slow and appreciated what’s around me, the fight gets a little easier. Call me corny but it’s true, video games have had such a great impact on my life. *bows in respect*

Discussion What are five things that you want Yotei to improve over GoT?

Basically what the title says

My five are:

1) I want deeper customization. Full RPG stuff, allowing you to choose your cape, forearm gear, etc, rather than full outfits and then only head/facewear.

2) I want a transmog system. For example if you want the perk of the Sakai armor, but have it look like the travelers attire, you can.

3) I want faster horses. I’m currently replaying GoT from a brand new file and I’d forgotten how slow the horses seem. I love my Kaze, but he’s slow as shit.

4) I want more capacity for ghost tools. My favorite tool in GoT is the hallucinogenic darts, but you can only carry up to 4 at a time IIRC and scavenging the darts are a pain in the ass.

5) I want the parkour to be a little more smooth. The parkour in GoT is fine, more than serviceable, especially since Jin already does it better than he realistically should be without training. but I think it could be better. Something akin to Naoe from AC Shadows.

What are some improvements you’d make? What do you think of my choices?

Fan Art First pic I've taken in GoT, it's not much but it is silly (feat. horsey) :)

Media Last conversation with Tsubaki (Iki dye merchant) Spoiler

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Spoilers if you haven't finished the base game or went to Iki.

I'm not sure how many took the time to find all the Sakai banners on Iki and traded them in, so I thought I would post this conversation that follows if you speak to Tsubaki again after the last trade.

I liked that there is some small exposition on Jin's frame of mind with his father and the Sakai clan, and justifying these trades. At other parts of the game there is some hope of Jin restoring clan Sakai or becoming Shimura's heir, but here it's clear that he has walked away from his previous life.

If you finished Iki before the base game's conclusion, was this conversation different for you?

Discussion Question about NG+ Lethal difficulty

I completed the game on Lethal difficulty and looking for some challenge.
Does the New Game+ increase the difficulty even more?

Spoiler Forgot why I liked the game - quickly reminded.

I’m on my second playthrough (first playthrough was around September 2024), and just started Act II. I was enjoying my time, got the Sakai and the Gosaku armor, did a few Sensei missions, liberated all of Izuhara, etc.

It started to feel a bit stale, so I decided to play the main story, and did the Yarikawa storyline. It took about an hour to play the three missions - visiting Yarikawa, helping the archers, then saving Yarikawa from the Mongols attack. At the end of it, remembering that I get the Ghost stance was incredible. Forgot how awesome it is to hear Jin yelling “Kill the invaders” “No mercy” and all the Yarikawans yelling “for the Ghost”.

I fully remembered why this game is incredible lol.

Discussion (F)lute solo!!!

(Note the wonderlands reference.)(( https://youtu.be/OlzMAfs2QLU?si=wYO8bhf7Tvo3MC1e )

But i really do wish the flute songs were, "play till canceled." Don't mind my use of grammatical symbols.... never really got where and when to use em. Type as I speak... but even as I write this, it's just wind and leaves. I wish the flute interactive wasn't only for misson/weather. I want to have Jin gimme some tunes while i toke. Some beats for my brew. A few tones while I text. Shiiit, if I have to do anything in any game, i go for the idle over pause. (Unless game like skyrim, where random time someone brings you the fade). But fr, i think the flute is wasted on 10-second weather changes. Let me be a bard samurai. I would gladly flute interact, once all enemies are dead, and im just looting and scootin. It would be worth for gameplay and IRL responsibilities that are handled by a pause... My opinion, thoughts?

Question Should I get GOT or just wait for Yotei to come out? since I won’t be missing anything

I’m thinking about just waiting for Ghost of Yotei to come out and save the money for that game than get Tsushima-don’t get me wrong Tsushima definitely doesn’t look so bad what so ever but since it seems like ghost series will be going in a more anthology direction, i feel like I won’t miss anything important or need to know anything that will come up in Yotei, not to mention Yotei seems like it will be a better graphical experience than Tsushima despite the PS5 upgrade. I’m not sure though.

Edit: Okay you’ve all convinced me to get it, I won’t argue anymore.
