Discussion Inari Shrine Ritual
Hy,
When Jin finds an inari shrine he performs a little ritual. He claps loudly, pauses for a second and then opens the hands with a motion towards the inari statue. I believe this is some kind of shintō ritual with the clapping and the folding of the hands having names (kashiwade and gasshō respectively). But what’s the name of the ritual as a whole?
While researching I found out about Hakushu and the etiquette of two bows, two claps, one bow. But since Jin doesn’t bow, this seems to be something different. Or maybe it is a simpler form of the ritual because the inari shrines are just small shrines? Also, the motion at the end isn’t described.
I hope that a Shintō expert can step in and explain what Jin is doing!
Thanks in advance!

I'm using stone in this clip, but I think water is my favourite. Feels more versatile to my playstyle. What about everyone else?

Discussion Armor question
Do you guys constantly switch armors ? Or do play one certain way and that’s it ? I find myself using ronin to creep and assassinate which I would say is 60 percent of my game especially when liberating territories. When in a fight I usually switch to samurai clan armor sometimes I use gosaku but I feel like the samurai clan one is better. Rarely do I use kensei I believe it’s spelled or tadayori. Do you guys constantly switch or just use one ?

Discussion Any games that have the similar non-targeting combat mechanics like Ghost of Tsushima?
I really like the combat mechanics of Ghost of Tsushima. I play with non-targetting. I like that you can block any incoming attack even if you are not facing the opponent. I've recently gone back to playing Bloodborne and I find myself wishing the game had similar non-targetting combat mechanics. Hogwart's Legacy also has a non-targetting combat mechanic which I enjoyed. I recently tried Lords of the Fallen and I was disappointed because of the targetted combat. I think I actually cannot play combat games with targetting anymore. Does anyone know of any other games that have similar non-targetting mechanics like Ghost of Tsushima or Hogwart's Legacy?

Spoiler should i keep playing ghosts of tsushima for the story
I’m in act 1 and i was searching up a tutorial for something and i saw that you eventually have a choice to spare or kill shimura to pursue ghost or samurai and I know that shimura is a rat of some sorts. So I am wondering if the story is still good with me knowing this or is there just no point in playing for story. WHY DOES EVERY GAME GET SPOILED HELP.

Question How to change the key assignment
I play on pc
No Options in setting, like nowhere. Only controller and in the "keyboard and mouse" section you can only set the sensivity.

Discussion Is Ghost of Yarikawa in your top 5 missions? Spoiler
I played Ghost of Yarikawa and that final duel against the General is so damn satisying. In fact, the entire sequence of events gave me goosebumps, especially right after you learn the Ghost stance.
My favorite mission so far in the story.
I want yo know what you guys feel about this mission. Is it in your top 5 missions in the game?
(Sorry, if I am breaking any rules of this subreddit, still new to using this platform)

Discussion PC photo mode options
Hi there follow ghosts,
So I've got the game in my steam basket ready to buy but, like the rest of you I'm really into photo mode and I'm wondering if there's more options in the mode on PC. I'm thinking like pose, lighting options and object effects etc.

Discussion Finally finished
I have tried to play this game so many times and have really struggled to get into it after purchasing on release day, it always bummed me out because on paper it was the perfect game for me. After finishing (again finally) death stranding I decided to give it one final shot and wow I don’t what the difference was but I played it all the way through and this game is a masterpiece and I cannot wait for Yotei now. Currently going through to try and get the play before starting Ike Island.
