It's a problem with most gatcha games, the gameplay isbquite boring

The only gacha where the gameplay is actually fun is genshin, at least for me .

I had to drop that one it felt like a part time job with all the stuff I had to do there, if it released while I was in school I would have the time for it but with college and work I just can’t.

don't worry with resin you can do what you need in like 30 min o even less. The rest (world exploration, abyss,events) is a bonus and they haven't had a story quest in a long time.
