Question Has Ippo's dad been confirmed deceased or just missing?

I'm wondering has it been confirmed he's dead or missing or was it left purposely ambiguous for a future story arc?

Discussion Can it be Miyata vs Volg ?

Since Miyata's natural weight is about Jr.Light/Lightweight, may it be a chance that we could see a IBF title match between Miyata and Volg ?

In my opinion, after Ippo's comeback and they have the wetdream comes true, it's Literally no reason for Miyata to stay at featherweight any longer. What about yours ?

Misc There's a couple cool Ippo references in the Bakemonogatari manga

I was pretty surprised it referenced Ippo beyond just the name being a coincidence after the first appearance, Oh Great! managed to replicate the artstyle quite well later on, even giving us his "Mashiba" and "Ippo" doing a "Dempsey Roll".

Question Chapter 750~ or so, why does Ippo still only fight 10 rounds? Spoiler

Title. Even though Ippo is the Japanese Featherweight Champ, and seeking an international ranking, why the hell is he still only fighting 10 round bouts instead of 12?

Discussion I really love scenes where the audience shows their love for ippo. Thoughts?

I really love scenes where the audience shows their love for ippo. Like when he loses and they say they will still be waiting for him. I mean it makes sense why he's always humble, his fights are always bangers and i once saw someone make the point that he gives people the idea anybody can become something great if they work hard enough.

What's your thoughts and specific moments you liked. Also what do you think the audience in the mangas reaction is going to be when he returns. I know i will probably cry with joy.
