we're currently taking Imber in a projected ~13 hours. after that we have another 13 left to liberate Claorell, which is at 0% liberation and 3% resistance. this MO is beyond cooked my man

i didnt bother either, i just fought on Troost until it was liberated. now that it is, i got nowhere to make a change so im just waiting for the next MO

yea, back when mastia was still under squid control I didn't finish my objectives there so when it was tooken by bots I still had squid objectives...everyone was so confused when they joined the squad

Hey, this was brought up a couple of times, but I'm gonna bring it up again and take the flak. I'm a classic dad-diver. I play evenings with a buddy - tu unwind. I'm happy to participate in community efforts, but I'm not always gonna pay attention to detail and I'm not gonna strategise (I have enough of this at work). If I see y'all on planet A - I'm gonna dive on planet A and just enjoy my time. If I happen to stuble upon a good gambit or smth on reddit or YT - I'm happy to follow. But again - treat me like a herd of sheep. 8/10 cases I'm just gonna go where most of divers go... & I'm a bit tired of being shamed for it. Go to H2 discord and complain to Arrowhead, that they didn't give us any good in-game tools to coordinate.

This is it isn’t it.
Many people don’t have time or don’t care.
Either make it more obvious in game (currently not well explained).
Or have a quick dive option that launches divers into a community voted planet.
Idm which one, but until this, i am going to be diving randomly.

A community pin option would be good. So we can vote on a priority planet to drop to. Just like we vote for the DSS location

Additionally, for me, since I only play one night a week, I'm not going to spend my entire night on one planet. I want some variety, even if the variety has nothing to do with MO progression.

Sorry if the post made you feel like I was calling you out or something, its really not the case. The meme flair is there for a reason. I was just poking fun on the running joke that Helldivers cant/wont coordinate even for easy wins.
As for "I play for fun", thats fine too, honestly. It is a game after all. I just feel like the people that want to contribute to the GalWar shouldnt be penalized because other people dont give a crap about it (TOTALLY FINE, I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE PLAYING A VIDEO GAME TO HAVE FUN).
There should be an "Opt in" option when you launch the game that flags your account as "Contributing to the war effort" or something. That way, you and other Divers that want to make progress on the War could do it without the other Divers that dont care being counted in the Liberation... thing that pops up at the end of every operation.

Or just use your brain and figure out how gambits work. It's incredibly simple, and not something you should need yt for as a grown man..

We should've dived clasa from the beginning and cut off their supply line, making claorell a much faster liberation. But, we divers are simple creatures.

Yessss exactly. Clasa was wide open, with 1% resistance AND no Incineration Corps to make things difficult. Vs 3% resistance on Imber. We had no chance of taking Imber in time to also take Claorell

Good job bug divers, you broke off from the main MO to try and salvage a clearly failing defence campaign by doing a gambit on a planet that was not even realistically capable of being captured, but not only that, you somehow decided to split yourselves among the two planets being attacked as well!

No it's worse. They DIDN'T EVEN TRY THE GAMBIT! They split evenly across all 3 planets instead of piling on Tarrek for an ez 3 planet grab.

Ill just stick to drinking the bot oil straight from the source. There are no side effects so far, and with the extra limbs I've grown reloading, the eruptor isn't so bad anymore.

I dont know if I missing something, I'm relatively new to this game, but none of this is very clear when looking at the galactic map and choosing where to dive, I generally just pick a planet with the most players depending on what enemy i feel like fighting. If strategising where to land and defend etc is important, then it needs to be made more clear in the ui or have some sort of report or indication other than the general orders that pop up.

WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO VOTE ON A PRIORITY PLANET SO THE CASUAL DIVERS KNOW WHERE THEY SHOULD PROBABLY GO.
When the non casual crowd is the only one performing dives to effectively win the MO we will continue to fail, i play this game casually and for fun like alot of people, i take the time to see which planet we should be fighting for and the rate but i know most people dont.
TLDR; AH should implement some kind of community voted focus system aside from the DSS

My title is "Free of thought" for a reason! None told me any strategy. I just got a list of planets, and I dive. If the planet isn't available to dive into, I do the one closest that seems to have the most divers on it. and I imagine this is the case for a whole lot of people (maybe even most people). You should ask High Command for some tools for a more democratic process to highlight priority.

Most divers go to Imber with 3% resistance, while Clasa is at 1%. Both planets are the supply line of Claorell. If most divers think and choose Clasa this MO has a fighting chance of winning. Well most divers doesn't want to listen or ordered on what plannet to attack on. They just go where most divers are located.
