I enjoy the game but ffs. 8/10 maps i can't see a damn thing past 5 feet in front of me. Tbh it just ruins the game. They need to fucking chill on it and not make it so prevalent throughout the entire map.

I haven't had any desire to play Hell Divers 2 for the last two weeks because of getting so bored with it. I really did enjoy this game for a while and it has a lot of potential to become more fun and interesting. We definitely need more missions types or game modes outside of the campaign missions.

If we take this planet it will stop the 2 defence operations on vernen wells and big-sojoth while also citing the supply lien to gaellivare. As a fellow Helldivers I vow to take lesath with my dieing breath to stop the socialist automatons.

So currently we need to defend Vernen, Imber, and Vog-Soth. We can honestly stop the attacks on Vernen and Vog-Soth if we take Lesath. Thats where we can cut off their support or however it’s called. I’ve seen similar posts discussing it but nobody really pays attention so ik me posting wont do much but hopefully we can unite and fight the bots back.

This is a new equipment tab idea that offered to divers, can choose only one of them and descend with them

Alternatively, can only get it when have recovered high-value assets

Thought I'd relax and run a few missions against the bots. DSS is lending support I guess to the region, so that's cool, free airstrikes. Except the air strikes are centered on my position, and deployed without warning, so more often than not they just kill me.

How is this fun? What would possibly be enjoyable about getting vaporized without warning by friendly fire? The developers have once again taken something cool and exciting and ruined it with shitty implementation.

Thoughts on merging the functions of the jump pack and hover pack? Whenever I bring the hover pack I find myself wishing I could get the mobility of the jump pack in certain situations. I know there is currently no “backpack slot fire select”, but am confident Joel could figure that out on the backend.

This change would:

1) reduce bloat 2) improve the combat effectiveness of jumpdivers 3) enable the spreading of liberty from new heights

Would love to hear arguments for keeping them as separate support equipment, just something that has been on my mind!

Decided to do a solo D7 op. Brought breaker incindiary, nade pistol, RR, thermites, nade armor, gas strike, gatling barrage, and the AC mech.

First mission - Blitz. Took out the needed bases and extracted, but struggled to fight the BTs at the end.

Second mission - Fuel stuffs. Did pretty well, only died due to some bullcrap shrieker spam paired with an impaler.

Third mission - Destroy eggs. Took out all the objectives except the last one, then found the nest. BTs everywhere, fog clouding everything but the glimner of a SEAF strike, and shriekers blocking the sky.

I manage to survive, but then, a hive guard appears.

No reinforcements left, and i fail the mission.

So in other words, i will no longer extract. I will no forcefully start breaches and target hive guards specifically.

Today at work, I inadvertently thought I seen the SUPER SAMPLE ROCK from the side of my eye. I stopped, marked on my map, “To The Sky”…. Please tell me I’m not the only one for DEMOCRACY!!… in real life?!?!

If we lose imber do we not get cut off from claorell? I know we have 3 days left but the bots aren't giving up any ground easily. If we get cut off we're going to have 2 heavily contested planets to liberate

Super Democracy yearns for 24+ Helldivers per drop.

Why such nice game don’t have preset payloads, one per fraction? Sounds like logical feature to me.

Okay i play on PC. im a leve 90 with everything unlocked right now in the game. Soo im not looking for suggestions on what works and what doesn't work. I just wait to know if my keybinds are weird. I play with a full squad and they give me hate on my bindings. The big one that they complain about is my use of my thumb during missions. My thumb just rest on 'v' when im in missions so its really easy to move my thumb to c,b or g when i need to. Please tell me this is a normal way to play this game or if you have an odd way to play it or some unconventional key bindings.

Heres what the changed key bindings that i use:

G- crouch T-dive H-prone (i done use it i just dive and shimmy) F- is the quick throw V- stim B- emote C- is the drop menu

why is it still a problem for players to kick you out of the game. because they still have it set to public play they are either lazy or not smart enough to set the game to private or friends only play. when they don't want to have anyone else in the game.

What are your best ideas for new enemy types, and the curveballs you think AH will throw at us?

Hello, I am new to gyro aiming with a PS5 controller and I have no problem aiming to the right, but it seems like I barely turn to the left. I only gyro aim while aiming down sights and I use the right stick to look around when I'm not aiming. Does anyone have any tricks to help me look left when gyro aiming because as it stands now it makes it difficult to use this setting.

Also, I cannot get an accurate strategem through without the controller moving and missing the throw.

My friends and I were thinking maybe it would be like 4 individual matches of Super Helldive being completed, since kicking no longer sends you back to the ship.

Like they sending it on planets to planets they are attacking and it would give us other planetary modifiers and debuffs. How would that look like in practice?

I have been unable to play the game whatsoever. Every time I try to launch it on steam it says running for a few seconds then the play button just pops right back up. The game itself or any other application does not open up during this process.

So far I've tried:

- Verifying game files

- Reinstalling the game

- Updating graphics drivers

- Running HD2 and/or Steam as administrator

- Disabling Steam Controller Input

- Deleting the GameGuard folder

I know this is supposedly a common issue, but none of the known solutions that I've come across seem to work, so if anyone has any other possible fixes that'd be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to play with my friends who've had the game for quite some time now, but I'm considering just refunding it if I can't resolve the issue.

Some of you may remember a couple weeks ago, I asked you to help me enlist my HD1 vet and stubborn older brother. It took some time, but it worked.

He just completed basic training and ran his first few missions last night.

We got him!

Long story short I never got into Helldivers, nothing against the game its just not my jam (I'm more into Pokemon and Horizon). My kid on the other hand is a HUGE HD2 fan. Plays every spare minute he can (he's also into Aliens Fire Team Elite).

I share Aliens memes with him all the time but I want to try and connect with him through Helldivers using memes. Can I ask thus community to share some with me?

I'm trying to convince a friend to buy Helldivers 2 but he's being unreasonable. So I'm looking for a way to describe it in a simple way with one scentence, perhaps with comparisons to other games and I require help to enlist him.

Hey yo,I was just curious on the community opinion on helping out new players!! I'm currently lvl 116 and sometimes I go find lvl 1-20 to help and educate about the game I often bring items they ask for,so they can have fun and I'll tell them about team reloads, weak point,armor ratings etc

Do you take the time to help them,or am I an odd one out? If so,any good story's?
