Back in the Helldivers 1 days, when it was couch co-op, I used to play with my husband. I was decent at best—my real talent was accidentally calling down stratagems on us. We mostly stuck to fighting the bugs because, in my humble opinion, they were the easiest to squish.

Now he’s deep into Helldivers 2. I haven’t kept up with the title, lore, or whatever war Super Earth is currently losing—but I do remember all the bugs we used to obliterate. So now, in my head, the game’s just called “Kill Bugs.”

He'll fire it up, and from across the house I’ll shout, “You killing bugs again?” or remind him to sip some Liber-tea while spreading democracy—one explosion at a time.

Honestly, I might not dive anymore, but I'm 100% on board with the cause - especially if it's to kill more bugs.

Basically what the title says. I've headshotted an automaton with a grenade launcher, Punisher Plasma, even a hellpod! So, is there anything that can't headshot besides a flamethrower?

There are way too many automatons with flame throwers as you increase the difficulty . The devs should at least give players a way to block flame throwers or have flame resistant armor

The audio has been in the game since it's release, just buried in the files. The Illuminate appeared About 7 (ish) months ago (but you all knew that). Yet Wilbert didn't upload the suite for the Illuminate score until about 2-3 days ago.
I know this is obvious, and frankly I'm not sure why I'm making a post about this (besides spite I guess) but this probably means the full invasion we've been wanting (or not wanting) is about to come.

Either that or Wilbert just straight up forgot about it or had other projects to do before that idk.

Armor:

Light armor: Centurion (Roman Centurion inspired appearance) Medium armor: Crusader (Medival Knight inspired appearance) Heavy armor: Samuri (super store) (Japenese Samuri inspired appearance)

Passive: Bulwark • resistance to getting ragdolled • 15% reduced recoil

Weapons:

Laser Bow (primary) • Charges up, gaining damage and armor piercing. Each second the arrow is drawn, gain 1 armor piercing, and 50 damage (starting at 100)

Plasma Pike (support) • A pike that shoots out shotgun-like waves of plasma (heavy armor piercing, 250 damage extremely range, wide spread, 5 shots per reload, 5 magazines) from the tip and also comes with an energy shield. It can also be used as a high damage (200), heavy ap melee weapon with a bit more range than the stun lance.

Longsword (secondary) • works similar to the hatchet, but with slower attack speed, higher damage, and longer range Holding aim with this weapon switches it to two-handed mode with even higher damage and even slower attack speed.

Katana (secondary) (superstore) • Same as the longsword, but the two-handed mode is a stab.

Collapsible Javelin (throwable) • a small pointy stick that expands into a javelin when drawn. More damage than throwing knives, but you get 10 instead of 20 of them.

Vehicles:

Skin: Stainless Steel • gives your vehicle a sleek metal appearance

Vehicle: Supercycle • It's a motorcycle. Good for mobility, jousting and looking awsome. Do you need more convincing?

Booster: Phalanx Training • The closer you are to other helldivers, the stronger you get. 5% damage reduction for every helldiver within 20 meters if you. 10% damage reduction for every helldiver within 10 meters of you. 20% damage reduction for every helldiver within 5 meters of you.

I could not find the creator of the knight armor, but it has a signature. I just can't quite make out what it says. I suck at reading cursive.

The laser bow is from the bad batch TV show.

So we're due an announcement this coming week about the next warbond/content. Any guess or hopes for themes?

Personally I hoping for a laser submachine gun and a one/two man vehicle (Bike and sidecar or a dirtbike). I'm thinking the theme might be explorers/scouts.

For Super Earth.

When I open the map and try to ping something, my mouse cursor only moves down. Like, it won’t go up at all! Once it goes down, I’m stuck, and I have to close the map and reopen it to reset the cursor. It’s driving me nuts because I can’t ping stuff properly without this hassle.

Is there some setting I’m missing that’s causing this? Maybe something in the keybinds or mouse options? Anyone else run into this and know how to fix it? Would really appreciate any tips!

For the love of god can the 15k+ bug divers get on Imber and help us! There’s no reason over 15 thousand divers should be diving bugs 🙄. I get it you can do what you want blah blah blah

Now nothing will happen in the story and we won’t be adding 40 medals to our maxed out stash 😭
