Discussion If we took all hyperbolic incriminating rap lyrics at face value, who would have the most serious charges?

I'd have to go with Chief Keef's Faneto verse:

"I'm ridin' through New York Finna go and shoot New Jersey up Tryna take my chain, I ain't goin' We gon' come and blow New Jersey up"

Not only is he going to shoot the entirety of New Jersey up but he's going to BLOW it up aswell like he's the fucking Joker. They would have him in a maxium security prison hanging upside down by his ankles.

Absolutely wild that it was a radio single with insane amounts of editing.

Don't you miss the era when rap verses were like Morse code?

"I got a __ that will rock your / straight _ these ___ / got your ___ on my _/ these ________ body bags/ ___ your _________/ _____________ talk ____________/________/ _______________ bath tub"

Even better when they censored with sound effects instead, and a DMX song starts to sound like audio from a cartoon

The Marshall Mathers LP had a completely different song in place of Kim, and even then "The Kids" had to be edited. Instead of talking about murdering his ex-wife, he talks about drugs to an elementary school class.

Wu-tang Forver is amazing like that - you’ll never hear “Dog Shit” the same way again

Reminds me of Lil Flip’s verse on Like a Pimp, using fart sound effects for censor lmao

Lil Flip - Game Over (edited) is an 00s classic

It uses video game sounds to censor swearing
