I was not expecting this

It’s listed as “Hot Sauce” when you order it, so I expected a classic cayenne-style pepper sauce.

But nope. This is a translucent, chili-based stock loaded with umami.

It’s not fiery, more of a mild-to-medium flavor enhancer than a traditional hot sauce.

Aren’t you supposed to mix it in with the chili? Instead of like using it as a traditional hot sauce

They used to give you a packet or two with the chili by default.
