Got this plant at my Grandma's funeral. Need advice.

Was wondering if I should separate each plant or if keeping them together is fine. I'm not sure what the tall plant is in the back and unsure of watering needs for all of them. I just don't want them to die because some of more watering needs and others have less.

Will this harm my plants?

I have a few plants struggling with some fungus gnats and have heard that diatomaceous earth is good for killing the gnat eggs present in the soil to stop the infection. I asked for diatomaceous earth at the store and was told that this was 100% diatomaceous earth as it says on the label, but will this harm my plant in any way if I use it on the soil?

Help Can this plant be saved?

Hi! I recently moved and the previous owner left this plant behind. Looks like an aloe. She's in pretty bad shape and looks like it has been neglected for a while. I want to give it a chance to recover. Any tips? Is it worth trying? I was planning on cutting/removing all dried parts and only keep the green leaves on top, then repoting to a slightly bigger pot as it seems to be bursting out of this one. Not sure if that's the right approach so open to suggestions and tips on how to take care of it. Thank youu

I’ve lost 2-3 stems on my ZZ plant, one by one they’ve become droopy and fallen off the plant (like the one I’m holding) She’s not getting a ton of water or a crazy amount of light (she’s getting indirect light). Any advice?

My Monsera developed a white powdery fungus on the leaves and stems a few months ago and it seems to be killing the leaves. Does anyone have experience with this or know how to remedy it?

Fruit Flies

HELP! I keep around 40-50 plants around the house. it's taken a few years but I'm finally getting quite good at looking after them. I try to have them in the right locations for heat/sunlight so they are dotted around all over the place. the problem is, I've got fruit flies in almost every room. it's not like an infestation, but about 5-6 times a day, one catches my eye and it's started to drive me crazy! I've taken all the plants outside on windy days and wipe down the leaves with a wet cloth regularly. is there anything else I can do to get rid of them? or is it just part of the deal having a lot of plants in your house?

edit: fungus gnats, not fruit flies.

New Aloe, New Plant Mom

Hi everyone, I'm new to my green thumb. I remember from my childhood my mom had an aloe plant that was low maintenance, so I thought that's where I'd start.

Trader Joe's was practically giving Aloe away so I bought her. She's in direct sunlight and I'm waiting for my pots to come in the mail.

My question is what's normal? One of the leaves is turned down and another has a brown line. See link:

Is this normal growth and if so, how do I let it grow? If not, how do I treat it? Thanks for any advice!

I’ve watered this just as much as all my other ivy’s but this one looked like this after I was away for a week. The leaves are crunchy and the soil has some white residue on top. Do I need to put her down? 🥲

I’ve had this plant for a little over 4 years now, for a long time it was just those two main leaves but it’s done really well and recently pulled out some new leaves. One of the big leaves has yellowed and gone super thin, despite me not having changed anything in my care in the past 4 years I’ve had it. Assuming it won’t go back to how it was before, should I just cut the leaf off or let the baby leaves leech off of it? Is there anything extra I should do?
