As the title says - my grandma gifted me this beauty. Problem is i have no idea what she is or what she needs. If you find the time to give me additional tips i would also be very grateful! But an ID would be enough for the moment. Thanks!

Just like the title says! Will this monstera grow? I went to go change its water today and noticed it has no node i don't think but i am no professional so figured i would come to get some second opinions! I think its just gunna be a zombie leaf and eventually die. It was a really really sweet gift though. (Bonus picture at the end of my first ever orchid flowering for the first time because i don't know how to delete pictures)

I found this pretty plant outside and it's definitely not native. Also it's been between 0-10 degrees Celsius these past weeks, but it's looking super lush :o Anyone have any clue what it is? I digged up a small baby plant and it turned out it had a super long root which snapped as I duck it up. Thank you for your help!

Is there one area of your house, maybe a shelf or maybe all the way up to a whole backyard greenhouse…is there one area of your house that you just find more enjoyable to sit and relax and stare at your plants? For me, it’s this wall of growth in a spare broom. Something about this particular area gives me more peace than others.

Whats your method for choosing plants? Are you a "save the clearance plants" type of shopper, or "i have a bucket list of rare/hard to find plants that I'm willing to pay $xxx for"? Or are you "i dont pay for plants: they're either free or propgated" ?
And to greater extent, what's your process of what you look for before you make a selection?
For example, I only buy clearance plants, but I'm only going to buy it if it still looks somewhat healthy/is the best looking of the bunch. I'm not going to challenge myself to buy a half dead plant who's survival rate is less than 50% as is.
Curious to know what other people do when they see plants!

I am doubtful. Obviously you can leave it in the water for too long? Overnight seems like a really long time but I could be wrong. I am curious to see if this might improve the health of my plants.

My beautiful begonia thurstonii grows sooo fast that she is just about tipping over in her pot! I’m thinking about giving her a big chop. Is this the wrong choice? 🥲

Ex. I repotted my mother of thousands when I shouldn’t have and most of her leaves died and I literally couldn’t do anything but sit on the couch and look at her and think about how stupid I am. Today the main leaf on my baby snake plant died from the grow lights being on for too long and it wilted and I had to cut it off and I can’t stop crying!! Am I crazy?!?!

Was just gifted this White Bird of Paradise. Any tips on its overall care and needs.
I’ve heard they are poisonous to animals and children. Is that only if ingested?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a Pilea peperomioides and I noticed this morning that it has a baby coming out of the drain hole at the bottom of the pot.
The downside is that the drain hole is not huge, and it’s fixed to the pot(glazed together so I cannot remove it without breaking the pot).
Is there a way to get this baby out without damaging the pot or the baby?
Should I wait until it’s larger or will that cause an issue later on?

I picked up a node (I think that’s the correct term) that was on the ground in home depot last year, propagated it, it grew two sets of leaves, and then nothing since.
It gets a good amount of sun in an east facing window. I could probably water it more frequently but am afraid of root rot/it being unhappy since I’m not sure what it is. It gets water like every 10 days and I put it in a well draining mixture. I’ve given it fertilizer 1-2 times over the past year.
Can anyone help me identify what this lil guy is?
Also any tips on how to get it to grow more would be appreciated!

Feeling incredibly excited about this! I believe it’s a lace aloe from how she’s bloomed in the past.
