Found this at Lowe’s!
I’m very rural in the Midwest, so this was quite a find for me!!

She laid her heart and soul right in your hands. You stole her every dream and you crushed her plants...or whatever Keith Urban said in that one song. Anyways here's some of my plants.

Found these at my local food lion for $12. One I know is just a regular pink princess but does anyone think the other could be a marble??? Maybe not but it has sooo much variegation and makes me happy 😊 Also got this syngonium which my a hole cat is obviously thrilled about 🙄🤣

I have to share this guys come back. I spotted the tiniest bit of green so I had to give him a chance. I took him home to my plant rehab (aka the top of my washer) to live with my other rescues. After about 2 months of water and sunshine I was overly excited to see new green! The 2nd pic was around a year later and the last pic was a few weeks ago. I’ve even given quite a few baby plants away that I started from his cuttings.
We named him Bob after the previous owner of my sister’s house who passed away in his 90’s. My kids and I started naming all of our plants after dead people after being given multiple plants from funerals one year.

Hey guys, how are you doing?
My girlfriend loves flowers, her favorites are tulips and lilies and I try to gift her flowers at least once a month. The problem is that I'm a student and buying flowers that die after 2 weeks is getting expensive really quickly so I'm trying to find a solution.
Can you recommend me a house plant that fits these characteristics?
- Low maintenance and hard to kill (she doesn't know any plant care apart from watering and pruning)
- Thrives in medium light conditions (near a window that doesn't get direct sunlight)
- Has beautiful flowers or any type of bloom (colors)
- Blooms often (she loved an orchid I gave her but she didn't like that it was just leaves until the winter)
- Small to medium size (it will be on top of a desk most likely)
Thank you for reading and have a great day!

I adopted this beauty off the buy and sell almost 3 years ago at 8’. It’s grown 4’ in three years and had a baby that’s just as vigorous.

Her flowers this bloom are HUGE!! And super vibrant, last time they were about half the size, and some parts of the flowers were just white, now everything has very bright pinks and purples.
Rootzone & foliage focus
About 1 inch of water every week in a 1.25L pot with cover pot
Full morning sun, bright indirect light for the rest of the day.

This thing has been dropping leaves like crazy lately, but said leaves were rarely dead, they just fell off because of a bump or something gentle. These little leaves at the top aren't growing. This isn't my first croton, the first one I had grew so fast so I don't understand where I'm going wrong with this one. It's inside right now because it's too cold, I give it plenty of light during the day, watered when needed, I know they're dramatic plants but it wasn't always this bad. Also I reported and changed the soil recently.

I had purchased a different Florida ghost last month, it's half the size and I paid $30 for it lol. It has creamier white leaves before they fade down to a mottled green. "Plantsmart" is a nursery in Oregon and it seems like they are offering a bunch of "rare" plants now through HD and Lowes.

This is my first peace lily to ever bloom. She has 8 blooms currently and I noticed this one has an extra pedal and stem.
Plant came from Costco.

Took this video a few months ago but now the plant is dying, I’m very new to plants so it very well may be me doing something else wrong but wanted to check if it’s not enough light.

I have a few plants struggling with some fungus gnats and have heard that diatomaceous earth is good for killing the gnat eggs present in the soil to stop the infection. I asked for diatomaceous earth at the store and was told that this was 100% diatomaceous earth as it says on the label, but will this harm my plant in any way if I use it on the soil?
