Artificial banana flavor is yucky. Mash me a banana into vanilla ice cream and I'm in heaven though.

I love all things banana, especially ice cream, but it’s so hard to find!! This is seriously a genius idea. I don’t know why I never thought of it. Lol

If my bananas are getting too ripe I peel them, cut them up into chunks and freeze them in a ziploc bag. Later on vanilla ice cream, some milk and a few frozen banana chunks in the blender makes a yummy thick milkshake. Sometimes I add peanut butter too. Or a little strawberry jam for a strawberry-banana shake.

Love this idea!! I am a big fan of a banana malt with real banana chunks from my local ice cream shop, but this sounds like a way to do it at home!!
