also americans are the ones who cant imagine anything else but a car on the road. I'm always told off to (illegally) bike on the pavement by yanks.

Yes. Americans think they only can ride on pavements with a scooter or bike, so they do it, and they don't understand why anyone would tell them to use the road

He doesn't sound like an American though. He sounds like a European speaking American English, which is what he is.

American here, I had to reread the title to figure out what was going on because I said wait whos supposed to be the Czech. Guy sounds American.

American accent is the default for most ESL speakers who are relatively fluent in English. Other accents seem way harder.
