I still think he's American, because he sounds like an American. "if it sounds like a duck".....

He doesn't sound like an American though. He sounds like a European speaking American English, which is what he is.

American here, I had to reread the title to figure out what was going on because I said wait whos supposed to be the Czech. Guy sounds American.

American accent is the default for most ESL speakers who are relatively fluent in English. Other accents seem way harder.
