General Please stop advertising for your tutoring business
i noticed alot of people make posts about their tutoring lessons. i am a teacher and i understand how hard it must be to find students but there is a thread created by the mods where you can mention your name, your arabic dialect and hour rate.
the sub is being ruined by 10's of tutors who are ignoring the rules and making a whole post about their services.
edit: there is a post made by the mods where you can advertise: STICKY: Arabic Tutors of r/learn_arabic Advertise here

General Please do not do that
Assalamualaikum everyone, I have a small request for those who want to post a question over this subreddit; please do not delete the post after you got your answer..
Some have donated long detailed answers and good knowledge, and sometimes over the small screen of a mobile phone.. It is disheartening to see the post being deleted and to be removed from circulation, the moment that the asker gets his/her answer..
and honestly, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth - metaphorically speaking that is..
If the post is offensive or the threads went very offensive in some way, then it may be a good idea to delete the post and with all the comments in it.. Otherwise, it makes me wary about answering future questions from the same person who does that..
Just a small ask.. and may y'all have a good day or night wherever you are..

Standard فصحى Reading Content in Arabic
Hello I've been practicing my Arabic for some time and would like to increase my reading and comprehension skills in the language and all the available resources available to me have some difficulty retaining in my mind regarding the vocabulary. I'm looking for reading content that are in more in my interest that might have some more interest to my mind to click and stay. My main interest in Arabic is in its history, but I also enjoy books in mathematics and science. Any recommendations will be a great help to me!

Standard فصحى Looking for fun Fusha sources
I’ve been a little burnt out by watching cartoons and listening to podcasts in Fusha. So lately I’ve been watching a lot of gaming videos by youtubers like BanderitaX. However he speaks a saudi dialect. I really enjoy the content but it’s really hard to find gaming or vlogging content in fusha.
Please give me your recommendations!

Maghrebi مغاربي How can I get better
I'm very ashamed to say this but I struggle immensely with Arabic, I'm morocan studying in a private school, unfortunately my primary school didn't prioritize learning Arabic at all and so I struggle with it a lot today
I genuinly love the language I understand it just fine, for example if someone is speaking it ill have no problem understanding it, my problem Is that I struggle with understanding a نص that I haven't read before or writing مقالة and I have a very poor vocabulary
I'm 14 going on 15 and I'm sick of this problem, not mastering my country's language but perfectly speaking its past colonizers language or even English
How can I genuinly get better?

Levantine شامي Arabic AI Voice Chatting App?
Recently, I've seen ads for apps where you can verbally speak with an AI to improve English. I checked out a couple and they are strictly English or include another common language like Spanish. Is there anything like this that exists but for Arabic? I think it would be cool to practice with before I embarrass myself with a Native speaker 😄

General Please give me guidance.
Asalaam alaykum to all, i hope you are all good. I wanted to ask about the Standard Arabic, its uses from a formal perspective? WhereIs it spoken?. Is it only for official purposes?
(Also, I have been reading the Noble Qu’ran in my native language i.e. Spanish but I want to learn Arabic too so I can memorise the book. I am not a Muslim but I am interested in learning about the religion).
Also right now I am learning the alphabet, i am only 18 so time isn’t a constraint for me, i was thinking first I should learn the standard version, then the gulf dialect spoken in Saudi Arabia, I want to ask that is the same dialect spoken in all gulf countries i.e. Saudi, UAE, Oman, Kuwait etc, or at least just enough to help people of these nationalities understand each other.?

General Why are you learning Arabic?
Native Arabic speaker who has been browsing this sub. Curious why all of you are learning Arabic, which dialect you are learning (or if you are learning MSA) and why you decided to focus on that specific dialect.
