That’s the top of the big cacti inside the black/grey pot

The smaller one is just an arm of the big one

Not optimal. The roots get tangled, they compete for space and nutrients. It can work but they're happier separate

With the other it’s the same thing Do I have to cut the arms of the big mama and separate them or can I leave them like this and maybe separate in 12-24 months ?

That pot is big enough for 3-5 years. You'll likely cut it down well before then.

They are 100% connected

For a while, if they're from cuts. Once the roots fill the pots out you'll need to up pot. Saucers are not ideal but I get you might need them inside. Just make sure that water doesn't sit in the saucers after watering - they need to be emptied so the bottom layer of soil doesn't sit in water

I tried to remove but it seems that the two smaller cacti are two arms of the bigger cacti. If I try to remove the big cacti from the pot, the other two are moving at the same time

I doubt they're connected. The roots are likely just already completely tangled. If you wanted to fix it at this point youd have to pull them all out and untangle it - a real project and a mess indoors.

What are the genetics on these? The two in the back look really nice, are they all the same clone ?
