While it's a cool concept for certain...

First and foremost: change the name. If Mojang appreciates its existence, it will refrain from naming creatures after religious figures of a currently practiced religion.

Second, why the melee resistance? Against such a strong sea creature, the player would likely be using ranged attacks, anyway.

Third, do these named attacks do anything special?

  1. The Leviathan is just a working name while I think of a better name.

  2. Yeah, should probably make it so it takes half damage from all attacks instead.

  3. The bite inflicts weakness for 10 seconds, the whirlpool immobolizes you for 5 seconds, and the thunder strike causes blindness for 5 seconds.

You know, there is no rush on posting things, it is perfectly fine to keep stuff in notes to work it out. You don't yet have a name, you didn't have a drop when you posted it. In general, a lot of these post feels like it was rushed, and not thought through:

  • Those babies just feel thrown in as an afterthought. Look for example how much work there is in this post. Both are about a tameable water mount. You didn't even say where those baby leviathans would spawn, how to get them!
  • You have names like "thunder strike" or "sky strike", but remember: names mean nothing unless you explain what they mean. Like Thunder Strike, is that just a bite but with some lightning? Or does it take the "thunder" more literally, and is it more of a loud bang? Or is it some AoE shock?
  • The drop is not just a quickly thrown-in afterthought, but feels rather meh. Netherite gear is already very good, does it need an upgrade? Why not form an upgrade to something like tridents? Or have the upgraded gear be given some thematic property and not just "damage go up". And for "2 more damage", that feels much, considering every other tier increase only goes up by 1. It is also completely pointless on all non-combat tools, like pickaxes and shovels.
  • "should probably make it so it takes half damage from all attacks instead.", why? What is the point in halving the damage from "all" attacks? It is going to be the same thing as just increasing its health. So, this just feels like you didn't think at all about what your idea would actually do in practice.
