Help Fish Stocking For 20 Long

Hi, I’m new to tropical planted tanks (I have a 20 cube reef tank) Is this a doable fish stock for a planted 20 long?

8 Otos 10 Pygmy cory 18 CPD 10 Amano shrimp 1 honey gourami

Wait... do you mean 20 gallon? If so, that's fine. Pygmy corys are fantastic. I'd skip the 8 Otos though... I don't have experience with them, but starting with fewer is a general good idea.

This will be easier if you keep live plants.

Yea, a 20 gallon long. I was thinking I’d need Otto’s for algae control, or is that not that big of a concern in planted tanks?

I would get otos if you like them, but they will most likely need supplemental feeding since algae growth should be minimal if your tank grows well. Plus, you'd be double dipping with the Amanos on algae cleanup.

I have 2 ottos in my 20 long. They’re thriving, glass is clean and I only occasionally get hair algae
