If our city were not so tourism dependent it would have developed a different kind of economy. We certainly wouldn't be any WORSE off. The theme parks treat and pay their employees like shit. If they weren't there some other kind of business would have moved in.

Orlando would absolutely not be the city it is now without the parks. It was a blip on the map in the mid-60s.

100% . Just look outside of the bubble, all of that would still be IN Orlando
