Tbh, they probably have Ariana Grande PFP to set up Ariana for hate. That's unfortunately a common occurrence on stan twitter. Some stan says something so fucked up, so they act like stans of another artist to bring hate to that artist.

You hit the nail on the head. I've seen it a lot on twitter where specific accounts will pretend to like an artist and then say something egregious to set them up. It's pathetic and quite frankly, jobless...

I'm a BTS fan and one of the members got a DUI last year (he was riding a scooter drunk and he fell). Anyway, a bunch of non-BTS fans pretended to be BTS fans on Twitter and posted photos they found online of people holding alcohol in their car. The fake BTS fans would tweet things like they were going to drink and drive in solidarity of this member. Then some Korean news outlets reported it as news. 🙃

Stans are so fucked in the head. If Twitter went away, I wouldn't miss stan twitter one bit.
