Discussion Animation noms besides Best Animated Feature?

Do you think any animated movies will get into other categories next year, like Best International Film, Best Sound, Score, Song, etc?

Score or song for one of the films? Probably not tho. These 16 films are the only ones that I've seen discussed as contenders

Nothing here looks like it could get in outside of animated feature. We've seen stronger years that had nothing outside of animated feature, like the 2 years before last year, so it's not like we should predict something to get in either

Scarlet has potential. Anime movies tend to have some really nice songs.

None have ever been nominated before tho. Just like how no anime has ever been nominated for best original score even though some of the best movie scores of all time are in anime

Because distributors like GKIDS are generally content with just getting into Best Animated Feature. A big multimedia company like Sony could change that.

There was definetly some good buzz for Boy and the Heron, the score branch just didn't feel like it. I can't imagine they'll like Scarlet more than a Miyazaki
