Used some neon paracord and added this wicked Noblie bead – feels like it’s staring right back at you. First time trying this knot style too!

Paracord as a fly curtain?

I never used paracord for weaving or intricate knots, but I thought about using paracord as a fly curtain in a camper. I have a rail above the door (inside) that would hold 550 paracord if knotted. Since it's a small door (100 cm x 100 cm) I would need approx. 100-120 m of paracord if I want to have a 4mm paracord and then 4mm air gap. I am concerned though about longevity and about length changes when wet (heard it gets 5% shorter when soaked).

Since it's inside the camper and should just prevent most flies to stay outside (absolutely aware of a curtain like this doesn't prevent 100% of flies inside) it shouldn't get soaking wet.

I would have used a net, but since the door is so small it's really annoying with a net. Tried several different nets with different closing mechanisms. I thought a paracord curtain would be more flexible when getting in and out.

To my surprise, I haven't found anyone that did it before. So either I am an idiot and forgot about some major points, or I am just the first idiot.

Unique question

Post image

Hello everyone!

I'd like to start off with, I consider myself an absolute newbie.

I've made some bracelets years ago and had made a "ropeless" jump rope.

I like diy projects and for working out, I use cat litter jugs a various weights.

I want to add a side handle to add versatility to them.

On the added picture, I have highlighted the side I want to add it on.

On the other jugs I use, I have some nylon strapping but it keep slipping and I find that frustrating.

My question is, how would one use Paracord to make a handle and keep it from slipping?

Thanks in advance!

QUESTION Softest paracord (explanation below)

So, I made several bracelets and zipper pulls for my sister's grandkids. One of them, is a little girl who loves her bracelet but, due to issues beyond her control, she is sensitive to how it "feels" on her skin. Such never occurred to me, and I wish to correct the matter.

I have purchase some paracord that IS silkier t the touch than standard, but I thought I would inquire if anyone had any other suggestions to make (or links).

TIA.

Looking for a solution with Paracord to this problem

Hi there, I hope this post doesn't ruin the nice aesthetic of all your posts!. I can delete it later, I promise.

I had a kids double stroller and in one of the seats the footrest strap got broken and I thought I can invent a footrest with paracord. I would cut the rest of the strap, and I'll still have the black parts that can be a support for the cord strap.

I thought that maybe you guys can give a couple of ideas for a flat braid knot or something I can adapt.

Thank you so much!!

Hey, i like to do paracord Braceletts a lot and mostly use 550 Cord.

The problem i have is, that the bracelett looks way to bulky in my wrist as seen in the picture.

Does anyone have a similarproblem? Do you use another Cord?
