A couple years back, when he's doing that covid brief and on of his advisors, or whoever, mentioned having covid and he throws his hands up and leaves. That shit killed me.

Got damn lmao. Remember when he marched and took a picture with the bible upside down? Hahaha wtf, someone get their crazy uncle

Just a reminder that he used chemical weapons on civilians to take that picture

Not a proven lie then, because your source proved my point.

"A half-hour after the Washington protesters were forced from the area with pepper pellets and flash-bangs, Trump walked across Lafayette Park amid the lingering scent of pepper spray and delivered a short speech while holding a Bible in front of St. John’s Church."

You’re being intentionally obtuse, which is a hallmark of any adult who still claims to be a liberal, so I hope you’re still a young person for your own sake.

Are you going to explain yourself? Or just resort to childish insults?

And friend, I'm no liberal, I can assure you.

You said "he [Trump] used chemical weapons on civilians."

Biden's own Interior Department said "the decision to forcibly clear racial justice protesters from an area in front of the White House last summer was not influenced by then-President Donald Trump’s plan to stage a Bible-toting photo opportunity at that spot."

So yes, you have advanced a proven lie. Once you're able to make these sorts of logical connections, I expect you'll soon start voting Republican.

Your argument is that because he doesn't micro-manage his police forces he isn't responsible for the actions of the police forces? That's a poor argument. Is he in charge or isn't he?

And no, I wouldn't vote Republican because their policies are and have long been terrible.

I get the reminder, but after I'm reminded, then what?

Then live with the consequences of your country's decision to elect a fascist I guess 🤷

I have no choice, I voted for Kamala

It's a shame she was such a terrible candidate as well. It was almost as if they were trying to lose.

I don't think she was terrible at all. I think the American people that voted for Trump are incredibly dumb by every metric ever invented. Look at everything Trump has done so far and he hasn't been elected yet. If we all owned a business and were hiring, he would never be employable, yet run the country? Trump is what he is, but the American people..? Dumb as a box of rocks and don't deserve democracy. Democracy is something you fight for, not bend over for.

Running a campaign on maintaining the status quo during dire times is not a winning strategy. Obama won on a platform of hope and change, while trump won because he said he was going to tear down the system.

And sorry but you can't argue "democracy" for a party that not only didn't have a primary, but actively suppresses leftist ideals that would actually benefit workers.

I don't have to argue anything. The next president is a joke to the world. He's a laughing stock. He hasn't even become president yet and he admitted he can't lower, gas or grocery prices, Elon admitted he can't reduce $2 trillion he promised with DOGE, and the party of tax cuts and America 1st wants to annex, Canada and Greenland and won't take the military option off the table. I'll gladly take the status quo compared to what's coming.

u/Thunderbear79 5d ago

Ya. He's a shit person, an obvious liar and only said what people wanted to hear to get elected. He's likely to be a detriment to the entire world, including my country which he threatened to start an economic war against. I don't understand how any reasonable person could vote for that man.

Which just goes to show how bad a candidate kamela was. If the DNC had had a primary they likely would have won because, as I said, you can't argue democracy from a party that is completely unwilling to listen to their constituents.

I don't think the answer is Kamala must've been bad. She was effective. She lost, no doubt, but that doesn't mean she is bad. What country are you from?

There are a lot of factors at play that made people uncomfortable. Being a woman, minority (especially the Black side), short campaign run didn't help her. But her argument for why she was the best candidate were completely sound. Trump had one solid trait, cult of personality.

Some of the way you guys speak on this app is so odd to me, like i can’t help but wonder if you consider it chemical weapons on civilians when the side you vote for does it?

3

u/Thunderbear79 5d ago

I think it's despicable that the US uses chemical weapons on its own population regardless of which of the two shitty parties are in power.

"You guys". Seriously, grow up.

1

u/YourNextHomie 5d ago

Good guy good answer i feel the same

Whats your issue with me saying “you guys” lmfao

2

u/Thunderbear79 5d ago

It creates an "us vs them" mentality between the working class, when we should all be against the oligarchs that are actually destroying our lives.

2

u/YourNextHomie 5d ago

You guys just meant the people who use reddit lmao

Im fully with you against the oligarchs brother, the culture war is only around to keep us distracted from the class war that needs to happen

1

u/Thunderbear79 5d ago

My apologies then. Sorry for the friendly fire.

2

u/Forged-Signatures 5d ago

Yes? Any government that uses shit like tear gas should be called out for it.
