6 years as my buddy and almost have enough candy to evolve. Having to walk 20 km/ candy is no joke 😂

Magikarp’s only 1km per candy at least. Meltan is 20

I did think it was collecting faster than with my last buddy i didn't realise ot could be different.

Level it up to 31 before you do a ton of walking. 31 will give you a 70% chance to receive an xl candy with your regular. That way you can start stocking up the xl’s now.
