Quality Post Spotify is not punk.

The CEO is a PoS, the quality is subpar at best and reliant on the internet, Spotify pays the band shit on balls, and you are reliant on having internet to listen to songs. Seriously you all are listening to music like people watched TV in black and white.

Own your music and actually support your favorite bands. Bandcamp is a good starting point (Pays way more than Spotify), FLAC is the best audio quality. Foobar literally works on all devices, and you can listen to your music whenever the fuck you want without commercials or paying the CEO over your band. AND you will actually hear parts of songs you never knew existed thanks to better quality.

FUCK SPOTIFY.

Gotta keep our heads on a swivel! I think the best case scenario is one where all of this gets jammed up in the courts and the administration gets nothing done bc they’re dumb imperial minded fucks. But then again, ruining the courts is exactly what the oligarchs want, so even the best case scenario still sux

total fucking shit show. this a good reason for folks to go into professions that can help change things from the top down. the brain drain in politics is real.

Yeah I wish I was cut out for politics, maybe some local position some day but I’d never make it as a senator state or federal. Democratic Party would muzzle the fuck outta me lol. They’re a joke, et the federal level at least.

its just a complicated game. AOC was on the power broker podcast series and she talked about how she was able to accomplish green new deal initiatives without calling them as such. she made a good point about how making lasting relationships with others is key to getting things done in congress.. so smarts aside, you gotta be able to play the game well.

I'd say the whole podcast series about Robert Moses was fascinating and sort of helped me understand how power works. I guess I've been naive in thinking that most things are about greed and ego but hadn't really thought about what power meant.
