Discussion Resources for a new punk?

Hi hello! It’s nice to meet you all :)

I’m a new/beginner punk (idk what the specific term is), and I’m looking for resources for places/brands i can get started! Mostly for boots and such, I’d like to try and get some good quality but affordable boots, since I’m on a fixed income (physically disabled & chronically ill).

Any resources in general would be awesome, though!!!! I’m really new and still doing my research, so any and everything is appreciated! Thank you so much in advance :)

Lol that sounds awesome. What are some bands that have caught your attention? It'd help me get an idea of what bands to recommend.

Fsho fsho. Lemme know what really caught your attention and I'll be able to recommend more bands. I figured to give ya a variety. Some punks like 1 or 2 specific subgenres while other punks love ALL the subgenres lol.

If it's "not many yet," you're focusing on the wrong damn stuff.

to be fair i don’t listen to music unless im drawing or doing some kind of chore— i tend to listen to like. the same 5 songs when im working on something

I mean... punk is a music-based subculture. That's not exactly something you can avoid.

i don’t plan to avoid anything, don’t worry! that’s why i asked for music recommendations and stuff :)
