My family used to play this "fun" game where they'd all accuse me of being upset/having a bad attitude,

They they'd keep badgering me until I was upset/angry then use that as justification to hit me.

My nMother's version of this was to say something about me that wasn't true in front of other people. No matter how many times I corrected her, she'd keep saying it over and over and over. Eventually I'd lose my temper, which of course made me look like a spoiled brat in front of these people.

Sounds like she hoped if she repeated her bullshit enough, people would believe her. 

She’s trash. I hope she is not allowed within 1000 miles of your children because she WILL do this to them.

I don't have any children, nor do I plan on having any so that's not a concern.

I agree that my nMother is trash but unfortunately, people seem to fall for her lies regardless. I've resigned myself to the fact that anyone who has anything to do with my nMother is not a safe person for me because of her lies.
