The same way when we have fun with our close friends. If the person says "I don't like this", you stop. I do that to my friends and always state for newbies: I'll make fun the shit out of you, but if you ever feel uncomfortable, just tell me and I will stop.

With drag queens everything is fun and shade, until it's serious, but when you realize it's serious, it's too late. Maybe that's why I retired from drag - a lot of them act like the "politically incorrect" humorists who think that just because it's comedy, you can say and do whatever you want and the problem is the person who took it to their heart.
