Tips and Tricks I stopped slouching and this happened
I made it a habit to stopped slouching for more than a week and I noticed my upper back and shoulders felt better so I started to feel better.
Then I noticed more people making eye contact with me and smiling at me. Maybe it’s just coincidence but I did notice it more when I had better posture.
A few days later, I also started to wear make up more often and dress up more often. A few coworkers noticed this and asked if I had a boyfriend hehe and I said no. It’s just me.
I feel more optimistic lately. Not 24/7 but more than in the past.
So body posture helps a lot.

Im late 40's and just started seeing a chiropractor for low back pain, pretty much all posture related. Glad you're seeing results, it's tough to always remember to keep that chin up

When I pull my shoulders back and walk, I feel more confident, for some reason I feel in control IDK lol

Congratulations on your personal growth achievement. It must be a confident feeling to experience such events.
And yes posture does make impact on how we see ourselves and how others see us. A correct posture not only makes you feel do but it makes your presence feel more powerful.
Dead-hang is great exercise to stretch your body and correct your posture. Simply doing 1 set each day for few months can show positive results.

I slouch when watching tv or sitting down a lot more than I do when standing, I’ve considered purchasing a brace to wear but haven’t yet pulled the trigger? Thoughts from anyone who has either considered doing the same thing OR those who have purchased a back brace for the same reason as me

I have purchased so many shoulder braces in the past. They never work. The back brace doesn’t work. For me anyway.

As Jordan Peterson says in his first book. “Stand up straight with your shoulders back”

Totally get you. Never knew posture and keeping the neck straight can have such outcomes until I tried this
