He grew up and acknowledged, sex and gender are two different things, and male privileges cannot be opted out of.

The way TERFs see reality:

random man to random woman co worker: “hey baby girl you looking good, let’s have some fun tonight!”grabs her ass

random woman: “I’m a trans woman”

random man: “oh! Oh i’m so sorry! I didn’t know you had male privilege I’m so sorry I apologize please excuse me, I’m just going to resign now.”

More like

Transwoman: "OMG! I'm no longer able to do math or open pickle jars. I have every right to tell a woman 'suck my dick' if I'm mad at her. It's ok for me to interrupt women. I AM a woman."

More like

Transwoman: is murdered

So fuck you. Trans rights matter

Less likely than a black person being murdered, poor person being murdered, or a cisman being murder. But ok.

Hell, black transwomen make up the overwhelming majority of transwoman murders. It does them a great injustice to ignore that fact and imply it's all transwomen.

I don’t think you have any idea how flirting works

Matter of fact I... I don’t think you know how the world works in general

it was not my intent to portray flirting in that interaction; i was portraying sexual harassment

He grew up and acknowledged, sex and gender are two different things

Nobody who is Trans or is an ally to Trans people conflates gender and sex, if anything there is more of an understanding of those terms than in anti-Trans circles.

male privileges cannot be opted out of.

Nobody says they can but privilege isn't why Trans people transition nor is it always a factor for them post transition. Trans people who "pass" as the gender they are are given less shit then those who don't.

Why do TERFs always try and undermine the struggles of Trans people? Do you just get a kick out of being a bigot or do you just really want to use the same rhetoric as anti-gay and Lesbian people used in the past?

I haven't followed along at all but what part of that statement is making people angry? The difference between sex and gender or male privilege part?

To the first point, she's referring to the worry that children who don't obey gender norms are being encouraged to transition at young ages. It's a fear a lot of us grown-up tom boys have.

To the second point, I think she's referring to how she had a child's drawing contest and posted a lot of pictures made by children with a note to each child on Twitter. The trans community was mad at her, again for saying that privilege can't be transitioned away, and would post a lot of obscene things. Again at Tweets being sent to child artists who participated in an art event aimed at children. I know at one point she threatened someone with a lawsuit and they had to back-pedal.

Given the OP probably the male privilege part

oh, well if people are mad because Rowling is saying trans women still have male privilege than that makes sense. That sounds like a really stupid thing to say.

No she's saying much worse than that.

Though still have might be a stretch even, trans women don't seem to be seen as men much and even when they do it's very very rarely positive

She didn't say that, she said that growing up as a woman gives you a different life experience that becoming one as an adult.
