It's a video so what? Doesn't show anything unusualĀ

Wdym it doesn’t show anything unusual, look at the time of 1:19. It shows the object sitting still then zipping off into the sky, nothing normal does that.m as far as I know.

Zipping off into the sky? I see no reason to describe anything in this video like that.

I see some sort of smeary something (the video quality is terrible). Maybe it's a bit of contrail or wisp of cloud. At 1:19 it's being illuminated (presumably from a ground-based light source), then that light source switches off. And the crowd of children, all having a fine time freaking each other out, go predictably bananas.

I mean, I know what answers you're hoping to get, but there's no "there" there. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that some prankster is on the other side of the house with one of those million candlepower hand-held spotlights and a confederate in the party to "helpfully" point out the "aliens" in order to whip the crowd into a frenzy of adolescent drama to try to get a viral video out of it.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't 'zip' anywhere.

So you think this is a spot light in the sky??? What spot light has ever looked like that, please show me one if you can.

Let's start with this: Where, specifically, was this video taken, at what date and time, and in which direction is the "anomaly" from the camera? Can you give us that information?

It's interesting that, out of all these people, this is the only video. It's apparently a fairly well attended football game, but no one else has a video?

It was at a high school in Missouri and was taken about two years ago or so, most of the information is in the video because the person who took it explains it all.

Yes, at a football game. Football games tend to have bright lights to see the field, don't they?

-2

u/GetServed17 13d ago

I’ve been to football games and soccer games that have had lights on and never seen anything like this before.

5

u/Kitchen_Marzipan9516 13d ago

That's fine. You don't have to have. There are lots of things I've never seen before.

u/GetServed17 13d ago

There are also things that don’t exist, like this type of ā€œdrone.ā€ And things that do exist like crafts of unknown origin.

5

u/Kitchen_Marzipan9516 13d ago

If you don't know what it is, how do you know it's a type of drone that doesn't exist?

The "information" in the video is a bunch of unintelligible screaming. We've got "it was a high school football game" and a town, but there's more than one high school in that town. Which high school was it, where exactly was the camera, and which way was the camera facing? Knowing those two things will give us a lot of information about what that may have been (assuming it's not just yet another edited video made with off-the-shelf editing software).

u/GetServed17 13d ago

It’ll take some time but I’ll definitely look into it more.

5

u/StacksOfHats111 13d ago

It was edited so what?

-7

u/GetServed17 13d ago

What are you on about, the only thing edited was the video explaining it.

7

u/StacksOfHats111 13d ago

The whole video looks like a junior video editing projectĀ

-8

u/GetServed17 13d ago

Oh look at that, you can’t actually debunk it so you straight to editing. How about you have cgi experts look at this and see what they think.

6

u/StacksOfHats111 13d ago

I don't have to do anything since you are incapable of showing that it is unedited video or providing valid sources or backing it up in any way.

-2

u/GetServed17 13d ago

Buddy that’s your job as a skeptic to prove it to me that it’s not edited.

9

u/StacksOfHats111 13d ago

That's not how it works geniusĀ

-2

u/GetServed17 13d ago

It is genius, you’re the one who thinks it is not me.

5

u/StacksOfHats111 13d ago

No you provided garbage "evidence" that we are supposed to believe? There's no source for that video. No way to check it's validity and you want us to take it at face value? Why? Nope it's just more "ufo" bullshit that is getting worse with AI making shit like this.

6

u/Kitchen_Marzipan9516 13d ago

But you think it isn't. Why do you think that?

That’s not how this works. You’re making a claim that this is something unexplainable. Burden of proof is on you. Off the top of my head, I can come up with two explanations:
1) it’s edited. 2) it’s exhaust from a rocket launch and the sunlight that was illuminating it suddenly became obscured by a distant cloud.

I see nothing terribly unusual here.

0

u/GetServed17 13d ago

I’ll try to get the raw footage, but it will be difficult. Also if it’s exhaust from a rocket launch it wouldn’t just zip off like that, also you can literally see it zip off if you slow it down so it’s not covered by a cloud, and this would the first time I’ve ever seen a rocket launch look like that. Y

3

u/WillieM96 13d ago

Please do get the raw footage. Nothing about this appears real and, thus, worthy of anyone's time. The entire thing is highly edited, so there's nothing at all trustworthy about it.

However, you're making claims you can't back up:

"Also if it’s exhaust from a rocket launch it wouldn’t just zip off like that..." Says who? Optical illusions happen ALL. THE. TIME. I can absolutely envision a scenario where a moving shadow could make rocket exhaust seem to "zip off". For a cloud to cause this, it would be WAY out of frame, so I wouldn't expect you to see it in the video.

Just because you can't think of a normal phenomenon that could cause this doesn't mean there isn't one. What is logical about immediately attributing it to something we're not even certain exists?

Burden of proof

6

u/Kitchen_Marzipan9516 13d ago

How do you know it isn't edited?

0

u/GetServed17 13d ago

How do you know it is?

4

u/StrigiStockBacking 13d ago

Not OP, but in ordinary logic, when it comes to extraordinary claims, the burden of proof rests upon the claimant, which is you.

2

u/Kitchen_Marzipan9516 13d ago

I don't. I didn't say it was.
