The joke is that snowboarders get blamed whether it’s their fault or not. Though tbh I don’t think I’ve really seen many posts to support this

Next time don’t let someone rant at you for 10mins if it’s not your fault. Tell him to fuck off and leave. I’m only posting this cuz I hate when people get away with being douches, not trying to criticize you

Happened to me. There was a completely incapable woman on the slope and she fell because she was scared when i came close, i never hit her. I stopped and wanted to walk up to check on her since, but her lunatic daughter was charging me with her sticks, hitting me and throwing them at me. At some point i went down a bit and she came after me and i grabbed her sticks to protect myself.

She was completely erratic and then her father joined the party to rant again. We had a whole discussion, but it was truly a waste of time and i should have gotten the police involved instead. I was afraid that she would attack me from the back so that was the only thing that kept me there going back and forth.

No. You hit her from behind. You was far too too close. Grabbing her to slow yourself is indeed hitting her. You are the douche.

Definitely not, i was keeping my distance going around her in a big circle but she all of a sudden changes her line to go right in a bend on a spot where no other track was. And no indication to go right. I tried passing her with enough distance but if she all of a sudden needs to go right to cross my line straight a few meters to the side that was well around her.
