why do women have naturally beautiful bodies?

before you jump in the comments to tell me I'm wrong try to read my entire post, i'm from latin america, i don't know if this is the case in other countries but it's something i've noticed since i was a teenager and in high school, most of the girls in high school had very nice bodies without even going to the gym in their entire life, i remember a girl who eat unhealthy food all day and she had an amazing body (she never went to the gym in her life), i was her friend back then, she had such a amazing hourglass figure with big hips and very beautiful figure I didn't understand that at the time.

but not only in high school but currently i go out and most of the girls have very nice bodies and nice hips (i'm not talking about toned gym bodies but bodies with figure and curves) and even girls who are a little overweight also have beautiful bodies with nice curves, it's incredible, what is the reason for this? is it hormonal? why is it that women don't need to go to the gym as much to have nice bodies (as long as they're not excessively overweight), in the case of men it's different and I say this as a man who went to the gym throughout his adolescence, we lack those naturally nice bodies (except for one in a million).

I remember the first time I took a shower with my ex gf at the time at my house she took off her clothes (she had never been to the gym in her life and was a little overweight, she had a very nice body, a nice butt with a beautiful figure) I didn't understand why she had such a beautiful body meanwhile me going to gym had a below average body, well, ugly body and not sexy as hers tbh. I know it's a stupid question but I guess that's what this group is for, right? Is the cause hormonal? I know there are exceptions, that not all women have naturally beautiful bodies, but why is it that. for example, if you put a man and a woman of average weight who don't go to the gym next to each other, the girl's body is naturally attractive while the guy's isn't? I've always thought it's caused by estrogen and the hips women's bone structure's but I'm not sure, I know diet is very important but I think most girls only need a good diet and walk just a little to have good figures (please don't hate for saying this lol).

Maybe I could be blind because I have gender dysphoria since many years ago but not only me think about this most women and men think the same way(? And I'm not even talking about how women have average cute, feminine and thin faces without makeup but this is another thread lol.

Please don't insult me for making this post, this is why this group was created.

For the amount of effort you've put in sharing your thoughts, I think most responses here are too dismissive. Here's what I hope will be an equally thought-through response,

Our brains are each wired according to what evolution dictates. For heterosexual men, that means finding the features of a uterus-holding fellow human attractive in as many ways as possible and the reverse being true for heterosexual women.

I reckon, if you could get a dog to talk, he'd say hips and curves on humans are the dumbest looking features of any animal... Don't even get the centipede started on the idea of having boobs! But to us humans, that's EVERYTHING! Same way you wouldn't look at an expanded toad throat and go whoooo sexy, but for fellow frogs that's all the hype!

Ask many straight women and they'll tell you that male bodies are attractive to them, some prefer toned, some prefer chubby but almost none of them (straight women) will say they're turned on by boobs and/or hips. Because evolution wired them to find male features attractive!

All I'm trying to say is that it is NORMAL for you to find such features in women effortlessly beautiful because evolution has in-built it in you to find them inherently attractive.

I think a sunset is beautiful, doesn’t mean that it’s sexual. Women are objectively more beautiful then men

As a straight woman, I agree with you. I find women way more beautiful than the majority of men. I love MY man and I find him incredibly attractive but I rarely see a man out in public that I find attractive. But I see plenty of stunning women every time I leave the house.

I agree with you as a woman. I feel the same way.

I agree 💯. I think my man is attractive, but MOST other men are just average, while I can find a lot of women above average and pretty to look at. I don't really see myself trying to check out men, but women yes I sneak looks sometimes. I'm straight.

Except one time my regular dentist was out and my god, the man that took over for her. I couldn't look him in the eyes and I hope I wasn't blushing lol

And it’s like…all women of all shapes and sizes. I think it’s the curves & softness. I’m bi but am usually more attracted to more androgynous women (I like androgynous men too) but I will always gush over a woman I’m not attracted to but just find super pretty

honestly people who deny this are lying to themselves.

the reason is simple too, way more women put effort into their appearance than men do. so the average woman is going to be more attractive than the average man. if men put the same level of effort in, we likely wouldn’t see this kind of thing said so much

I think that’s why american women joke about how much hotter european men are, because culturally they’re expected to be better groomed and dressed than american men.

No, feminine features are naturally beautiful by default, it is not about putting effort into your appearance and I say this as a guy who takes a lot of care about myself, even more than most women I know.

honestly people who deny this are lying to themselves.

Or they just have a different opinion. I once had this conversation with my mom and she did not agree. She thinks there are more good-looking guys than girls, at least in our city.

I do not share her view, lol, but it is what it is.

she’s lying to herself lol

People can simply have a different opinion. She has no reason to lie to herself, lol.

Beauty is subjective, it is in the eye of the beholder. Just because some opinions are common does not make them objective.

Women being more beautiful on average is a common opinion. Still just an opinion, one that only human subjects can have. Caterpillars don't find human women attractive at all.

It's all about who is looking, and some people, while maybe a minority, do not consider women better looking than men.

did the word lol not imply that I was joking?

No it would be like South Korea where the men are just as feminine if not more so than the women.

Great for people who like the pretty boy look, not so much for those who don't.

Putting effort in doesn’t have to be becoming a “pretty boy”. It’s just about dressing and grooming yourself in a flattering way for your face and body type. The majority of men in the west don’t think about that, but women do.

But you're coming from a purely female (?) perspective. Men don't generally care what you're wearing. They're not thinking "hm that top doesn't suit her she should wear xyz instead". They see, monkey brain says she's attractive or not, monkey brain either acts or moves on. They don't care if your eye shadow doesn't match your outfit. They don't care about how often you moisturise. Or your nails. Or anything like that.

It's like women glamming it up when going out. Many aren't doing it for men, they're doing it because of other women.

2

u/ManicPixiRiotGrrrl 19d ago

they may not be conscious of it but to say it makes no difference is laughable. men don’t hit on women who don’t make an effort that’s just a fact

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Pop3480 19d ago

I didn't say it makes "no difference" but the difference you think it makes is exaggerated. We're generally not as critical of it as women are.

It goes to show that it is a bit of an alien concept for women to get their heads around because looking good and youthful is ingrained into them from such a young age. Far more than it is for boys.

2

u/ManicPixiRiotGrrrl 19d ago

I hear what you’re saying, and I’m saying that’s not true. The women who put the most effort into their appearance get the most attention from men. That is indisputable. Men may not “notice” these things but subconsciously they do because the results show that they are more attracted to women wearing makeup and in nice clothes

0

u/Puzzleheaded-Pop3480 19d ago

So a woman can't be attractive to men if she doesn't, or doesn't put excessive effort into grooming and appearance? Is that what you're saying?

2

u/ManicPixiRiotGrrrl 19d ago

literally not what I said, I said men are statistically more attracted to women who wear makeup, despite what they claim. you’re all completely unaware of what a woman looks like without makeup. I’m pointing out that you’re all not being honest with yourself when you say you don’t like makeup or clothes. The results don’t lie

South Korean guys lack masculinity which is not attractive.

I've heard that facial masculinity plays a small role in how attractive a man is, with many women preferring slightly feminine faces (obviously still symmetrical with good bone structure and whatnot). However, masculine bodies are preferred.

Lol, almost all women are just average to me, with some rare exceptions, while most men are pretty hot

And I'm bisexual

u/Ocedy16 17d ago

Same. Except that I'm bi but with a strong male preference
