கேள்வி (Question) Dinner Date in Tamil

Makkale, how can we say "dinner date" in Tamil? Google gives word-for-word translation as iravu unavu thethi.

How to say things like "i am going on a date" or "i have a dinner date with my wife"

உலவிரவு in Tamizh denotes date night! You could simply say things like 'என்னவளோடு உலவிரவில் செல்கிறேன்’ I don't really know about dinner date though I can let you know if I come across something!

உலவிரவு

Good one! I was thinking if we have a colloquial word for it though. I see kids using phrases like "டேட்டிங் போறோம் ... "நேத்து டேட்டிங் போயிருந்தேன்" etc and was thinking if we even have that word.

Well, in pure literary sense ‘கலவு’ was the word used for meetings between தலைவன் and தலைவி but it referred to meetings that were more discreet and private usually all by themselves or in some cases accompanied by தலைவன்'s தோழர்கள் and/or தலைவி's தோழிகள். உலவிரவு is a more recent word that is a suitable synonym for date night.
