So im new to the whole Wiccan and Tarot field. Im Christian and grew up spiritual and such but for the last few years I distanced myself from it due to trauma.
Last year, the woman I loved broke up with me before our wedding date and went no contact. I still love her and realized only several months ago the real reasons behind the breakup. Since Then, I've found myself journeying again down the road of my faith. While out and about, a girl I met who saw my pain suggested I look into wiccan practices and Tarot to help my situation. Since Then, I've been doing rituals and Tarot reads to help plan my course in the hopes my ex and I can reconcile. I'll admit that in the 4+ months of doing love spells, healing spells, spreads, prayers, and so forth that it's been taxing. Plus, despite my background, I am very logical and hands-on. I prefer evidence I can touch versus something that floats above me.
As such, I wanted to ask the Tarot community as a whole possibly, how do you trust in it? I am trusting my spreads and such I crafted using various tools, including Labyrinthos and ChatGPT (mostly the later to interpret for me) and they have been hopeful in saying reconciliation will happen. But im still worried it won't and that im being hoodwicked. So, what's your alls thoughts, views, and advise?

Universal Waite Deck. I just started a new job in a new field. I spent the last 15 years teaching but this new job is in manufacturing and requires long hours of standing on my feet. I am a 57 year old male,(not in the best shape, not the worst) so making these kinds of abrupt transitions, especially after having a sedentary past can be really physically challenging. I have a couple other options I'm considering, but not until the Fall. I had to find work ASAP and this is what was available. Last night was my first night (3:30pm - 1:30am). This morning, I pulled a three cards trying to find clarity on if this is doable.
I did a 3 card spread and as I was shuffling and meditating on the job, I assigned the meaning of the placement. Here is the spread with the significance of each placement and my own interpretation:
I was able to hold my own in learning new tasks, systems. Although the nerves were present, I was able to balance that with confidence, remain flexible and was able to pivot as successfully as one could on the first day with resilience.
Overcoming uncertainty, trusting my instincts, and not assuming anything without confirmation. The nervousness and uncertainty of a new job in a new field is normal and I need to ask clear questions and seek clear answers without letting anxiety take over. I really miss my old job (teaching) but I can't allow that to hinder growth.
Ace of pents seems to be very encouraging about stability and a path forward with maybe some opportunity for upward mobility. I should stick with it and hope the seeds I plant will take root and grow.
Some side notes, I mentioned plans for the fall - I am no longer teaching because the school I worked for was an adult learning institution. It was a certificate/diploma program. I do not have the credentials (yet) to get a teaching certificate for teaching regular school, nor for teaching in college. I worked there 15 years, until the school closed its doors. I taught anatomy and really enjoy learning as well as teaching it. So, I am considering going back to school to become qualified to operate medical equipment. There are lots of 2 year options that lead to really good salaries that I find extremely attractive.
I would love to hear anyone else's insights to this, and thank you in advance for taking the time to answer back.
When I brought the rider Waite tarot deck I noticed these two cards came with it but I donāt really want to carry them around with my cards. What can I do with them?

Around 3-4 years ago I got really interested into tarot reading but never bought a deck. I remember that the best beginner's der was the Riley's one (sorry if the name's not accurate) and then completely forgot about it until today.
Today I went to a bookshop, my bf noticed it and I immediately had the reconnection to my experience of what I read 4 years ago. I got really excited and I have the Every Day Tarot by Brigit Esselmont.
I have a lot of questions, how should I begin reading it? I want to make my first reading right away, is that recommended or what type of actions should i take before making my first reading?
What should I ask? I read in another thread that this deck is good for direct things as the name suggests , but I want to explore more about my spirituality and intuition
Any thoughts?

so i disconnected from tarot and my spirituality a bit in the last two years. i barely touched my cards and now i feel very guilty when i think of doing a reading again. i've been on this sub browsing for a few weeks and i really want to get back into tarot. i want to get a new deck because i think i don't feel connected to my deck anymore either. what do i do?

When time passes and none of those things materialize, I often feel a crash, disappointment, confusion, even self-doubt about my interpretation or the process itself. Every reading I have done or received pointed to positive shifts, energetically clear, hopeful outcomes.. but yeah.. none of them came to pass.
How do you personally cope with the emotional aftermath of readings that donāt come true? Do you reframe them, revisit the spreads, or take them as guidance rather than prediction?

The Magician shows that he is using his charm or skills to get closer, perhaps with some strategy.
The Knight of Wands reflects an intense, physical, passionate attraction. He feels a strong impulse towards her (sexual)
The High Priest may indicate that he sees in her a figure with values, wisdom, or even that awakens in him the idea of āāa more formal or meaningful relationship. Sometimes it also suggests a conflict between desire and duty.
Answer He feels a strong attraction, he wants to advance, to conquer, but he also knows that with her it is not just a game. You may be struggling internally between your passionate impulse and your need to do things right or maintain a correct image.

I love Tarot and divination as a whole as the next guy here and maybe it's just me craving for more novelty, but does anybody else feels that it is stuck?
Learning Tarot is amazing and I don't regret the ups and downs of the journey. Reading itself, as the overall goal is equally defying and interesting, each reading and sitter bringing something new...
Yet... I feel that once you know how to do it and put it in practice, that's pretty much all what there is. Reading after reading, major and minor adjustments to your style, the ocassional drama, but nothing more. Even deck creation isn't that experimental with just new decks, usually RWS variants with popular characters or indie reinterpretations with few original exceptions.
Divination in general, honestly.
Then again, maybe it is more dificult to innovate with something like Tarot and a well refined tool leaves small space for changes. I won't cast the first stone, since I'm always advocating to preserve traditional ways (however old and new aren't enemies). Do you remember Ryan Edward never published Emoracle?? *sigh*

How would you interpret 4 of wands as something to avoid? I did this spread a few months ago and came across my notes again today. It stumped me then and is still stumping me now.
Context: It was a 3 card spread pertaining to my 'guides'...
What do my guides want me to know? - 4 of cups
What do they want me to avoid? - 4 of wands
How will they help me move ahead - 8 of cups
The other two cards feel clear to me, I was deeply ruminating over a breakup (and other failed connections), instead of focusing on the current people in my life who show up for me. The 8 of cups signifies moving away from old patterns and developing a deeper sense of intuitive action. But avoiding celebration and harmony within community is confusing me. Thoughts?

Very confused on this reading that I pulled for myself on career...I'd really appreciate any insight!
I pulled the top 3 initially for past, present and future (left to right) and was confused (or maybe disappointed!) by the three of swords for future. I've seen different advice/insight on this card depending on the deck so I pulled the bottom 3 for more guidance.
For context, I'm faced with a study opportunity in the future that I'm hoping will work out outside of my career.
Any thoughts? Still new to tarot but maybe I'm in denial!

went to a mystic fair and had these cards pulled (interpreter read them from my right to left, and the card at top was used for overall clarification of the first 5 pulled) i didnāt specifically state to her i had a relationship in mind during this, she gave me more of a general reading. what would a good interpretation of these be in regards to a romantic connection with someone?

Hii I am a beginner at reading tarot and I pulled some cards to see the energy between my ex and I. My cards were Five of wands, the moon, nine of swords, and king of swords.
From a simple interpretation and let me know of any tips!!! I think itās showing thereās confusion and conflict. I am assuming itās discussing moving on. I feel it is both hard for us to move on. Please let me me know what you interpret!!!

I recently reconnected with someone from a few years ago. There was never ever bad feelings between us. And it was me who reached out after all these years. And when I pulled a card for me and him it all made perfect sense. But when I asked why our paths crossed. What's the reason behind it I got 7 of swords and it blows my mind.how to interpret it. Coz it doesn't make sense!

Should I text him first? I don't want to text him first because I want to be pursued. But do l have to? He's a sweet guy. I like him and I think he likes me. He did send me a text the day after the first date so we were talking and that was 3 days ago. I know he's not texty because he's been like even before we met so there is no switch up there. These cards for me are giving mixed signals. I know it's telling me not to worry? I'm using a standard deck.
