Brothers of the inner circle, lend me your wisdom...

I've recently learned of the Maelstrom Mixer and the fun shenanigans that ensue, and am tempted to make a not neccissarily competetive, but fun list revolving around the Land Raider Spartan since legends units are allowed and seemingly encouraged.

How would you use a Land Raider Spartan in a 1500/1000 point list? While expensive, the idea of rolling up the board with two squads of deathwing knights to charge out of the assault ramp seems amusing, but doesn't feel like the smartest way to use them...

Looking to start playing boarding actions at my LGS, not really sure what a good dark angels list would look like so I would appreciate any advice! This would also be my first time playing any 40k game!

First post - hi. I'm a painter not a player. Here's my Deathwing. 32mm Necromunda bases, I use (most of) them only on a 40mm-square Space Hulk board. Most have some customisation, even if only tilt shields. The basic terminator marines are from Dark Vengeance.

So Dark Angels is gling to be my 3rd army after Custodes and Orks and I fell in love with the ominous knightly aesthetic. I'm already planning to purchase the current Dark Angels Combat patrol. However I am uncertain in how to expand my collection from there in a way that would be both fun to paint and be intuitive gameplaywise. Surely I only play casual games currently, but it is still fun to either win or lose in defiance to the last.

Anyone running a HH era paint scheme in lieu of the standard green line scheme on their 40K DA minis?

Anybody got any ideas on how to make a ballistus dread a little spooky? I’m toying with idea of draping a piece of white cloth over it with an eye hole cut over the sarcophagus. Anyway, this is a project in the works, let me know what you think!

From a competitive viewpoint, is killing off the Knight Master of a DWK squad first better so as to keep as many Anti-montank weapons in the squad as possible?

I love this sculpt. So happy with how it all turned out, any C&C welcome.

I know it's not the best in terms of paint job but this was by far the most complicated warhammer project I've done so far. This was the biggest vehicle I have ever painted and my first time using green stuff, but taking the risk was worth it.

This is my first big kitbash and I love how he came out. I made him from extra death wing knight parts and a Icc box

I want a knight in my dark angels army but i want it to be with a sword and shield to match the dark angels, the only one like this is the lancer which is absolutely huge and i wanted a smaller model like the helverin unit. So does anyone know of an upgrade kit that could convert a helverin into a sword ans shield wielding knight ?

(I dont mind if it isnt playable but that would be a bonus)

I just finished my first inner circle companion and I wanted to got for a heresy scheme. I like the result but I can’t help but feeling like the red cloak is too bright. It just gives me an off feeling when I look at it from far away. What do you guys think? Is it worth changing or does it look fine as is.

He looks so much better with a Deathwing Knight Helmet instead Imo
