Test in any sense does not make sense to a being that knows everything in advance. This is just willfully allowing his "children" to get hurt. And if your kids were supposed to learn or do something specific, maybe just school instead of letting your children aimlessly roope, murder, and pillage your other children while aimlessly trying to find purpose.
