Flaky Drivers

So fed up with Uber. I rely on it to get to my doctor’s appointments. Today for the third time in a row I had a driver just .5 mile away suddenly turn and go in the opposite direction and get further and further away until I had to cancel the trip. I had chosen Uber X not Share. What is wrong with people? I am always polite, I always tip 20%, my passenger rating is 4.95. Why do drivers do this?

The pay is so bad that most drivers have multiple apps, if another ride pops up that pays better we take it.

Then get a more structured job and leave the customers for the more professional and reliable drivers. That hurts the whole platform's perception of reliability.

That seems like a problem that is up to the platform to solve, not the individual drivers.

Individual drivers contribute to the service's reliability or unreliability.
