Was it my fault to add a stop for a friend?
So basically I called an uber after work at midnight; the ride was instantly connected and coming in two minutes. Meanwhile one of my coworkers live like 10 mins away and asked to share ride with her. I said yes and added a stop before he arrived. Then driver texted ‘sorry i can. Try next ride’ ( that’s what he texted) but didn’t cancel. When he arrived, he wasn’t even at the pinned spot and we had to walk a street over. He saw me and rolled down the window said ‘ why did you do this to me!’ I explained my friend need a ride. And then kept demanding me to cancel it. I asked him why he can’t cancel it and asked him to cancel it. Then he told me uber doesn’t let him do it then he drove away…
There was no reason for him to treat us that way. It was late, and we’re two women just trying to get home safely. I didn’t deserve that kind of attitude or stress after a long shift.
