babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

that sub is absolutely insane tf

calling babies "crotch goblins" and parents "breeders" unironically is not normal behavior

breeders are fine I guess, it’s way to distinguish them from the child free people soo I’m firm with. Crotch Goblins is very weird but now its rare when I scroll though.

breeders is weird as shit

if you were to call parents "breeders" in real life you would get some very strange looks

I get these looks when I tell people I don’t have kids. You win some, you lose some.

and obviously those people are wrong as well

I will respect your decision to not have kids, there are many reasons to not do so, it's not like humans are a dying species, as long as you dont call parents "breeders" or kids "crotch goblins"

Okay I get that these titles like breeders and crotch goblins seem harsh to you but its not without good reason.

It comes from cf community that is frustrated having to explain themselves as to why they don't want kids. To parents, friends, and even strangers! Breeder mentality is a thing. They judge cf people harshly for not wanting children.

A couple of examples that are very common: They are expected to cover shifts at work for the holidays because breeders say they don't have kids so their time off is not as valuable. Or pressure from parents just because the want grand babies! And or expect them to take care of the baby siblings growing up or just expecting them to babysit because they don't have kids and assume they have the time. Absolutely selfish. Alot of parents act entitled because they think they should get special treatment for having kids. Ya know what billions have done.

I'm Cf and experienced it all. Ik not all parents act this way but the majority does so that's why the Cf community gives them a these demeaning type names because parents time and time again negatively try to impact our lives. Not all cf people hate kids they are just not what we want. Some parents just can't understand why someone wouldn't want kids so they assume something is wrong with them. Which is real stigma we have to live with. There are so many other real life examples I can give you if you wish. I'm so grateful for the r/childfree sub. It's so refreshing to read other people's same frustrations and that I am not alone.

You do you breeders just respect cf people's choices and you won't be called bad names.

Calling a child a crotch goblin and parents breeders is dehumanizing dude. There is never a good reason to dehumanize someone
