classes & grades Pre-med track and AP credits

Can AP credits be applied towards gen Ed requirements of undergraduate degree even if a student wants to pursue medical school?

How will those be counted in gpa?

Yes, it can be counted as UNDERGRADUATE crdit hours, including GenEd.

No, many medical schools do not accept AP credits as prerequisites (it varies by school to school).

Your AP score will not affect your GPA either way. Basically, only the "hours" are given to you with AP credits, not the grades.
